I noticed about 3pm the Huckster had his donations counter up.................... but now suddenly its gone. Pffffft............. what a plastic candidate he is. Removed it because he didnt want anyone to see comparisons no doubt.

Just shows what a complete tool he is.

Huckabee's a good guy. Don't trash him just because we're having a good day.

Even if he has no money and no support, he can't cut and run.

You don't know whether he's a good guy or not. He left his state in shambles

I cant stand him. Every single debate answer he has to crack a stuipid joke. Our country is in shambles, and all he cares about is some faux sense of honor that he has.

but thats neither here nor there.

Huckabee is a chameleon. He steals lines from other candidates all the time and misrepresents his voting record on a regular basis. I cant see much about him that I like. Hes more of a socialist than anyone gives him credit for.

Huck is not too bad. Perfect for a small town, he's just not a statesman.

We could use his voters... we really could if he decides to drop out.

Lets be nice.

Forgive me, Josh but. . . time for Huck to break out his bathtub full of razorblades he keeps referring to.

That's assuming his voters would come over (I think that most of them would go to Romney or Thompson if he dropped out). Personally, the more split the vote is the better in my opinion. The key is to get Republicans to be anti-war, and get enough of them to form a greater percentage than the split pro-war vote.

Huckabee is a liar and flip flopper.

At least he can stare at Ron Paul when Ron speaks.

And the "honor" line is such rehearsed, empty rhetoric.

You mean one of those small towns that have the speed limits go from 55 to 15? :D

Right on. They would probably go to Thompson.

And in any event, it doesn't matter a great deal, because Huckabee will be in the race through at least the early primaries.

Huckabee supporters are young religious conservatives who strongly support staying the course in Iraq and using a preemptive military strike against Iran. They support federal legislation outlawing same-sex marriage. They support socialized medicine, government run education, and increased entitlement spending. And they support the President's weak position giving amnesty to illegal aliens.

I think in practice a prerequisite to becoming a Ron Paul supporter is to begin to distrust the government. But these Huckabee supporters would vote for Bush again given the chance. They look to the President and they see an honest, well-intentioned, spiritual leader.
