He is a wimp who would wave the Constitution at a nuclear launch against this country. He is a wimp who would want permission from the UN before defending this country. He is a wimp who would not order defense unless he could find enough friendly countries willing to help.

If you analyze it I believe the very heart and soul of conservatism is libertarianism. . . The basis of conservatism is a desire for less government interference or less centralized authority or more individual freedom and this is a pretty general description also of what libertarianism is.

Interesting. They seem to have locked the thread about the donations today.

First time I've read that forum - most of the posters seem to have an average IQ of about 50.

That explains all the support for the Bush and the neocons.

That Lee guy is admired among some there yet his responses to posts are laughably weak and childish.

I can imagine if Ron Paul is elected President, he will still be banned by some of the insane brownshirts. "We will not mention that gun grabbing, tax-hiking, liberal commie in this forum! Now get out you libtards!!"

I didn't realize they were keeping tabs on all our threads here. Over there I wrote one post asking some of their members who were going all out on Ron Paul, with baseless claims that he wants to cut the defense budget, too provide some documented evidence or a video of this.

I talked about the exuberant amount of unnecessary money being spent on the hundreds of bases all over the world from military point of view of people i hung out with.

I was banned most likely for commenting on another forum(even though someone else could of copied my name) but I wouldn't hold it past these nutjobs to ban someone for innocent posts. I see Lee Kingston answering posts, not with any level of intelligence, or to debate, but just, "You Libtard, LOL". I didn't take it personally since its obvious that to be a Hannity Mod, you just need the right amount of ass kissing, 8-12 hour forum presence, and a low level IQ.

Should we be giving that board traffic? Right now, keeping in mind it 7AM EST, the numbers viewing on their mainboard (Washington Politics) is 38 while ours (Grassroots Central) is 130. A few months back, the situtation was exactly reversed.

The optimist in me wants to say that it is people fleeing their boards and more people joining our boards. The realist that while our movement is growing, their numbers were simply inflated (not surprising, everything else about that site is BS). I suppose it can be both. But again, for the supposed number of fans, that's getting pathetic.

BTW, Lee Kington called Ron Paul a baby murderer in the thread proclaiming Ron Paul raised 1.6M that morning. I don't see that 40+ page thread anymore, so I suppose he couldn't defend that moronic assertion -- but all the mods share this zealous anti-Paul attitude. Yes, many there already said they would vote for Hillary before they'd vote for Paul - they are just exposing their true colors.

I suggest to let it go. That forum was once a place to get words out to conservatives but it is unimportant now - we've grown past that.

I didn't realize they were keeping tabs on all our threads here.

Yeah they have been for a while. Really good thing too I know there's a lot of quiet converts. Some of the slubs there who get their opinions from cable news and whatever else out there they find agrees with them will never be converted. But those types cannot argue with traditional Republicans, no matter how many times they feed their member base bullpucky like "tin foil hat" or "truther" or whatever misnomers they enjoy using they cannot argue against the ideas.

The fact is that that user base is fairly new at being GOP or has forgotten what it means to be GOP. They literally think that the war is the single issue the party stands for, barely hanging onto the ideas that has been the moral backbone of the Republican party. You can see the damage done to our party quite clearly in forums such as these. I mean... knocking libertarians but denying that Ronald Reagan whom they have all but deified is one of the cornerstone libertarian Republicans under the tent? Or worse: pretending to be a Reagan Republican on the Hannity forums, arguing with Ron Paul supporters and name calling them and his policies (but not discussing his policies), then not even knowing that Reagan was a libertarian.

It's amazing how much memory fades from us and how easy it is for media outlets who either do not remember themselves or have desire to force an agenda neglect to mention past occurence. And then we see this Hannity forum with moderators that act like a thug class completely drunk with their psuedo-machismo, obviously compensating for something. Moderators who allow trolling to run rampant if it suits them, who stifle debate on issues, and who do this on the one GOP candidate that is not only the most conservative and most traditional Republican in the race - but is pulling in new Republicans by droves.

Somewhere along the line once we've taken back the moral highground from the Democrats we'll have to review this to make sure it never happens again. I do believe it is time for a third party. One in which the truly pro imperialist corporatist agendas can flourish. I think that will happen if and when we win the primary, the upset may cause them to fragment into the 17% of Americans who still believe that there were no plans drawn up for an Iraqi invasion until post 9/11. With an almost guaranteed Paul endorsement from the Christian right at this point they would have no choice but to do this or remain silent. Honestly, I believe that portion of the political spectrum is simply too lazy and intellectually malnourished to activate anyways. And when Hannity practically begged Dobson to show more support for Huckabee, Dobson replied with a very curt "he's one of them" on mention of a third party endoresement. So if there is a third party at all it would be because we did not win the primary but obviously have the support of the mainstream people to win the election.

But no matter how much the neocon punditry controls the minds of the Republican party the truth stands. And that truth is that not one point Ron Paul made has been countered by a single candidate on either isle. And even more in our favor, not one candidate has the ability to debate Paul 1 on 1. Anyone who has witnessed Paul in action at a real debate knows that he truly is the first pure civil libertarian and pure paleo conservative we've had since Reagan. And unlike Reagan, Paul's going to stick to his guns on rolling back the damage the self labeled progressives have done to our society.

I've said this once and I'll say it again: What's cracking me up is that about 36,000 to 38,000 donated to Dr. Paul and that's about the same amount of votes that Dr, Paul gets in on-line polls when they say we are 'spamming'!! Take THAT main-stream media!!
