One of Florida's largest counties will stop adding fluoride to the water supply before the end of the year, commissioners decided this week, in a move that some opponents say was influenced more by tea party propaganda than it was by health or financial considerations.

"Fluoride is a toxic substance," said tea party activist Tony Caso of Palm Harbor, The St. Petersburg Times reported. "This is all part of an agenda that's being pushed forth by the so-called globalists in our government and the world government to keep the people stupid so they don't realize what's going on."

"This is the U.S. of A., not the Soviet Socialist Republic," Caso told the commission.

"You don't have the right to put it in the water," said another Pinellas County resident, Jim Pruitt. "You don't have the right to medicate us."

Bobby as you should know, the St. Pete Times is one of the most Statist rags in the country. Flouride is absolutely toxic and has many neurological impairments. The Nazi's sure weren't giving it to the Jews so they could prevent cavities.

Paul Connett, co-author of the book, The Case Against Fluoride, is joined by his wife, Ellen, webmaster of the Fluoride Action Network (FAN), and Tara Blank, PhD, Science Liason Officer for FAN, in authoring this article on fluoride and the brain. Together they have recently provided an extensive commentary to the EPA's Office of Drinking water in response to its proposed safe reference dose for fluoride1.

In an ongoing effort to determine which chemicals may damage the developing brain, scientists from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently conducted an extensive literature review of over 400 chemicals, including fluoride.

Fluoride is Classified as a Neurotoxin

Consider for example:

24 studies have now reported an association between fluoride exposure and reduced IQ in children
Three studies have reported an association between fluoride exposure and impaired neurobehavioral development
Three studies have reported damage to the brain of aborted fetuses in high fluoride areas, and
Over 100 laboratory studies have reported damage to the brain and/or cognitive function among fluoride-exposed animals3.

Simple solution.... don't drink water provided by the government.

Simple ? That means..

No eating or drinking in restaurants,
No eating or drinking, except spring water, anything from a grocery store.
No eating or drinking in movie theaters, sports venues, concerts.
No eating or drinking anything in schools, churches, and work cafeterias.

Not so simple for the people who want to shower or bathe.

This is one more small victory! Exposing government lies is key!

I carry bottled water with me everywhere I go. It's not a big deal. I always have a case or two in the back of my car.

Very simply...if the municipality has Fluoridated water, it will be in all your water supply....so when you take a shower, or bathe, you will actually absorb more poison than actually drinking it.

Edit to add:

Why do you think bottle water is so much better for you?

Also, does the plastic bottle that carries your water state it is BPA Free?

Then you are all set except for the 99% of food which uses city water in its' ingredients. Enjoy the beef jerky & popcorn for breakfast, lunch, & dinner !

Best water on the planet:

http://www.healthwatersinc.com/our-history/facts

And if you live a certain two counties in Arkansas I believe, this is the water that comes through the tap. It use to be marketed as miracle water but the FDA put a stop to it, because I believe, it's the truth. You are water, liquid crystal water. The only difference between coal and a diamond is it's crystalline structure of carbon, this water Mountain Valley is akin to drinking Diamonds instead of coal. Matter of fact it filters through diamonds and the largest crystal deposit in the world outside of Brazil. Many people have benefited from the drinking of this water - it is no folklore, even the Native Americans acknowledge the sacredness of this water source in what is today Hot Srings, AR

You can get all you want for free if you live there, they have a fountain on the main road in that anyone can go fill up however much of it you want, be careful though because it's hot!!! People I know have switched to drinking this water and it changed their lives, I'm not kidding. One girl I know lost 50 pounds and now looks damn near like a model.

Everyone should read the work of Masaru Emoto, he has proven the effects of vibrations on water clearly:

http://www.life-enthusiast.com/twilight/research_emoto.htm

The more people that know this the better. If you tell water "thank you" and freeze it to view the crystals they are beautiful, if instead you say hateful things to it the crystals will be deformed or non existent. It has proven it over and over and over, yet they don't teach these things in school because they don't want the general population to understand the consequences that come from this secret knowledge.

Cheers!

Most of that bottled water is sourced from public tap water supplies. The spring water tastes like untreated. Plus you get all the BPA from the plastic.

So yeah, I'll vote for fighting those who are trying poison our tap water.

Why the hell do we need our cities to fluoride our water anyways? Really?! It's America, it's your choice; if you want your teeth to rot out of our skull so be it, that's your choice.

My reply to the linked article in the OP's article:

http://vitals.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011/10/12/8290357-the-most-vulnerable-suffer-when-fluoride-is-taken-from-water

Ha, are you serious? Sorry if I sound abrasive but who cares about the poor? The apple doesn't fall far from the tree and we need to cut this crap on taking care of everyone. Minus the homeless, nobody, and I mean nobody is poor enough to not afford a basic toothbrush and no-name floss. Forget floride, too many sugary foods? Is that what our tax money goes towards, feeding these cockroaches' kids junk food? Again, this is America, if you have kids you can't afford deal with it. Sure, YOU can donate to that cause but don't force me into participating; just like this floride rubbish. My family and I have to suffer because some stupid poor people are too busy spending welfare checks on everything else other than a damn $2 toothbrush and $1 roll of floss?
