Wasn't there someone who had calculated the actual time each candidate spoke at the last debate? Does anyone have a link to that stat for last night's debate?

Link found!:

About eight minutes out of the two hours. Santorum got more talking time than Paul. However it's kind of Ron Paul's fault. He should have interjected. All the other candidates were doing it. I believe him not taking command of the conversation was detrimental.

In the first hour he was very quiet, I thought he did excellent in the second hour.

I guess no one has done the calculations. Just wondering how much Ron Paul was "blacked-out" of this debate as compared to the others.

Good point about interjecting yourself though. Newt did that a lot. Even more ironically, half the time Newt is using Ron Paul's talking points, but then everyone thinks that it's great when it comes out of Newt's mouth.

But Ron Paul has manners, respect, and humbleness.

The only time he actually interrupted Cain, he said "sorry to interrupt."

Older voters notice these things, as well as the other candidates acting like a rabid jackals.

Not every person watching the debate is completely brainwashed you guys, relax.

I don't understand how Huntsman gets as much time as he gets in these debates. If he's polling better than Johnson it's not by much. Huntsman shouldn't even be invited.

I disagree. Paul (with his very calm demeanor) does horrible among older voters.

He's an establishment shill.

He's an establishment shill.

So are the rest, but they constantly put Huntsman up there as if he's a top-tier candidate.

I expected that, but it still blows.

He did interject. You have to give him some credit for trying.

Someone was trying to tell me that Ron Paul had lots of changes to talk, and that Huntsman was being left out. The real numbers helped with that. Huntsman 8 vs. Ron Paul 5.
