I have a pretty cool web page design for another money bomb the day of Dec. 30. I know everyone (including me) is going to need a break after this awesome fund raising day, but I was just wondering if y'all think it could work. The day before the quarter, even 1/2 of what we raised today would be awesome....

Could work if it was a cool and catchy plan.

Not to discourage you, but you might want to take into consideration the fact that the campaign may be running it's own "raise 2 million in the final week" money bomb or something similar. Seeing as it was a success last quarter, they may want replicate it.

I'd say go for Boston Tea Party date, there will surely be a lot of money offline on that day as well. Best to work together.

Isn't there a 31st in December? Why not Happy New Year Ron Paul!

I really like the symbolism of the Boston Tea Party date.

My vote is for the Tea Party event. December 16th. I think it's a great theme and leaves us plenty of time to prepare for it.

I don't think we should announce money bombs too far ahead as it causes donations to dry up while people wait for "da bomb!"

Now if every one had today's results - who cares!

But I think a couple weeks advanced notice, that is enough time to get people on board.

I like the ideas of the Black Friday and Boston Tea Party dates. No way they will meet today's donations. But they are earlier and spread out. The campaign needs money sooner than later. And considering NH primary might be in December and Iowa is Jan. 3, money on Dec. 30 might be late.

Oohhh I like it... How bout Black Friday and people can donate whatever they save by standing in line for 6 hours to the campaign.

Personally, I am not too crazy about Dec 30. Everyone is broke from Christmas, plus a lot of us have city and county taxes due that day . . . (ugh!)

If you dont have a domain name yet how about naming it Sons of LiberTea.

a play on the words on the name of the organization that brought about the tea party "Sons of Liberty". Some of the people that were in this organization were Paul Revere, Patrick Henry, John Hancock, John Adams, and his cousin, Samuel Adams.

just to visualize it. SonsofLiberTea.com

maybe add the date too so people dont forget SonsofLiberTeaDec16th.com

if the play on words is too cheesy perhaps just SonsofLibertyDec16th.com

just throwing out ideas
