With Herman Cain's 666 plan, I mean 999 plan, it would add a 9%
National sales tax on new items to my 1% Cherokee County sales
tax and my 6% South Carolina sales tax, making my total sales tax 16%!
Im going to open a Thrift store and then I might survive him!

Am I the only one who thinks this 666 stuff is childish (understatement)?

Of all the meritable and credible attacks we could be making on the plan, we choose to flip some numbers upside down and expect people to be like, "OMG, you're right, this plan sucks!"

Yes. And the 666 comment is worn-out and unnecessary to make your point. If you want to make the (valid) case that swapping one tax scheme for another is not going to make any difference, go for it, but leave stretches of non-issues out of it.
