People will never "wake up." You could herd them into camps so long as there's a tv, beer, and a hungry-man. They'll accept it.

I can hear it now, "It is to keep us safe and for the detainees own safety from the actions of terrorists in their district We do not know who the terrorists are so if you love your country it is your patriotic duty to comply so our men and women in uniform can figure out who is who".

There will also be pundits on either side reporting from and how great these camps are while saying how proud they are of their country.

Here is how so backassward OUR society is if you think about it and I am guilty myself. We glorify our own natural terrorist, gangsters, biker gangs, crips, bloods ect ect the ones that keep OUR children from being able to play in their yard...We give people awards for praising the activity in song and film? Then send some of our best and bravest off to another country to fear for their lives every minute they are awake so we can live free of fear?" We the people" are the ones that need to change.
