1 dollar earned = 9 cents due in Federal Income Tax
1 dollar purchase = 9 cents due in Federal Sales Tax

So for every dollar earned and spent there is 18 cents paid to the Federal government. This tax will destroy the working poor and those older Americans with low fixed incomes. Most of the working poor have no Fed tax burden besides payroll taxes and of course for the inflation tax. Why tax them now or ever for that matter? This is just another incentive for the free riders to not work.

You think the divide between the rich and poor is large now? Just wait until 999. Seriously, the middle class will disappear. Then it really will be 99-1 like OWS says.

We already have multi-city protests across the nation. Just wait until Cain is President and tells these people they have to pay 9% tax on things they can barely afford as it is now. Talk about a plan that could send this nation into Civil War this is it.

Everytime you buy something, the business recieves income, which is taxed at 9% - and this is gross income not net income, so businesses can't deduct costs. This is not the way businesses handle themselves, and what the effect would be I'm sure no one knows,

Or another way to look at it, if you sell something at cost to your buddy back and forth, you lose alot each time, even though no one made any profit or produced anything. If the business charges you $20, and it costs them $20, $20 is taxed at 9% income instead of $0.

And its on food.

And its on the internet.

And its on services.

And it isn't one bit constitutional. It's not a duty of excise; it's not on luxary goods, and it's a direct tax on everything including food to feed yourself.

And it's been pointed out that it will become 10-10-10 then 11-11-11 and so on...

The government never stops needing more money and power, thats why we have a constitution.

All they have to do is stick to it. And we have to make sure they do.

Such a simple plan! Maybe Cain will like that plan? :)

And this is the guy who is rising in the polls? The bottom line is employers will be stuck with having to pay employees more money(hidden tax) to compensate for the taxes and hence they will layoff or hire fewer workers. A disaster of a plan for small businesses and entrepreneurs.
