Hope you like them! I've made them as simple as possible to make them cheap to print and easy/quick to read.

Expanding on what I said.

Could put End the Wars. End the Corruption. End the Fed.

Use the word "We" a lot, instead of "you".

Make one side easily readable without clutter, and the other side more detailed information.

I like that idea about We instead of You. Will make new ones tomorrow.

What I was thinking is to have these on one side, and a Black this Out flyer on the reverse.

You may lose people at the, "amazingly, he's republican" remark, and the full paragraph of text they would need to read before getting into the, "meat and potatoes" so to speak. Maybe even just put the Ron Paul graphic towards the bottom, so people will read it without any false preconceived notions.

The approach with the smaller sizes may be the best bet, because they will read a paragraph of text and not be interested, whereas if you say: End the wars, pull the troops home, and invest in America may grab more attention and promote a full read of the material.

I originally made these for someone who's going to hand them out in California. It's aimed a progressives/liberals. Obviously this is not something to hand out to Evangelical social conservatives.

I'd be interested in something like this for environmentalists, although that seems like it would be much more complicated.

perhaps a bit complicated to put Ron Paul's private property environmentalism into a flyer, but I could try.

You've already done a good job and a lot of work. But, you screwed up... you asked for suggestions! :)

I would simplify and make it easier and faster to read. For example; the top section I would turn into a chart with two columns. First column "The Hope", Second column "The Change"... then list the items you have in their shortest form without commentary. It would allow the text in that area to be larger and get across the point more quickly. Instead of "civil liberties" use "personal freedoms" or "he fought for your rights" in the TSA section (make it personal to the reader). Drop the commentary in the end the war section about Pak&Afg... replace with "Stronger National Defense". If space allows include more economic comparison... "Would abolish the Income Tax" vs "Continues the failed policy of Tax & Spend".

Add "Will end the Federal War on Drugs and...". If possible, the word Prohibition would be good to use. PBS is running another Ken Burn "documentary" about Prohibition and maybe people will make the mental connection that Prohibition had disastrous results... and that the War on Drugs is another failed and disastrous program.

Where possible, make it personal to the reader. For example in the BHO column about bank bailouts... add "Voted to give YOUR tax dollars...". In contributions, add "He accepted large donations...". Where BHO broke his promise add "He broke his promise to YOU" or "to US". Tie him PERSONALLY to these issues. (note that the all caps are just to make this easier to see... do not use all caps in your document without purpose)

Add personal benefits to the RP side in TSA section add "to protect YOUR rights as an American citizen" (or, just American). I would also move the "who is RP" to near the bottom. Get the attention first with something bold... give them the solution last. Don't start with the "boring" stuff. Remember the "SEX, SEX, SEX!... now that I have your attention" concept. Hit them with something that may be of interest to them... then, sock 'em with the solution. Perhaps a heading that reads "What Happened to Hope & Change?". Make the action statement stronger. Instead of "for more information"... something like "Learn how YOU can Restore American"... something along those lines.

When you read it put yourself in the readers shoes and head. Think like a liberal (uggh) or, the "P" word. What would get them personally... what would spark them to action. Always consider your target market and how to get them to take action.

Teach you to ask for suggestions... huh? :)


but... this is your thing and its pretty good as is... just my suggestions and I ain't gonna bitch if you go another direction

Thanks! Didn't realize that was my first post. Been lurking. Recently re-registered as a republican to vote for Paul in the primaries. Environmental issues are my only concern, which is why I suggested it! Love the flyer idea, looks great to me and is easily digestible. I know a few people I will be sending it to.
