Recently Sean Hannity called the occupy wall street protesters un-american in response Henry James Ferry interviewed a few Marines at Zuccotti Park.
The Marines stated why they had come to protest and in direct response to Hannity's statement said "Fuck off" and "Thats the biggest load of shit I've ever heard"

Take that, Lee Kington and all you other neocons at Hannity forum.

So now it is clear where the troops stand. Will you support the troops, or are you against the troops? Your choice lies before you.

I'm a little confused as the how the marine on the right was forced into student debt? Besides that, no qualms.

Put the Libertarian Macho Flash away for a few minutes and understand how the student debt issue can help us make inroads with OWS:

- OWS is concerned with student debt
- Student debt is at all time highs because college tuition is going up faster than CPI
- Government runs many (most?) of the colleges these people attended or are attending
- Student debt loans are brokered between the government colleges and the banks
- Government-bank collusion is the enemy

Who was it again that received more individual donations from members of the military?

War is just a racket. A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of people. Only a small inside group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few at the expense of the masses.

I believe in adequate defense at the coastline and nothing else. If a nation comes over here to fight, then we'll fight. The trouble with America is that when the dollar only earns 6 percent over here, then it gets restless and goes overseas to get 100 percent. Then the flag follows the dollar and the soldiers follow the flag.

I wouldn't go to war again as I have done to protect some lousy investment of the bankers. There are only two things we should fight for. One is the defense of our homes and the other is the Bill of Rights. War for any other reason is simply a racket.

Oh, and don't forget the "WE HAVE $150 BILLION TO GIVE AWAY IN STUDENT LOANS" commercials that play on talk radio stations all the time. There's always a media connection...sigh.

Relax man, I too have student debt...It's almost paid off...and only 1/3 done the program - I'm just saying...that's MY debt...I voluntarily entered that agreement.

The (debt driven) education bubble is large here too - there's a reason I put it on hold.

I also said "No other qualms...".

The complaint about the student loans extends from his experience versus expectations. He was probably under the impression his degrees would allow him to pay down the debt. Experience showed him differently. I like the bulldog marine. Looks like a former street tough with a bunch of integrity under his belt. I don't think any NYPD will be swinging a truncheon at him anytime soon.

There were plenty of us veterans and military protesting the war long before Kokesh did, though he was one of the first to be recognized nationally.

These people aren't just protesting the bailouts. They're protesting in favor of bigger government and an end to capitalism. Why do libertarians defend a movement that's in direct opposition to everything they believe in?

First of all I have to say props to these protesters for getting off their couches and turning off the tv realizing something awfully awry is going on in the scope of things. It seems to me that their message is aimed in the wrong direction. They should be protesting in front of the white house or..... at Federal Reserve buildings. It is the government who is causing all of this trouble not corporations and businesses. You can't blame the corporations for accepting bribe money from the government as a tool to use to their advantage.

Some people confuse the term capitalism with corporatism. They are not opposed to capitalism. They buy and sell, they make profit.
This WAS STARTED by people that know who the real problem is.

The troops are still clueless and on the side of the neocons....despite the fact that Dr. Paul encouraged them to vote for an anti-war 3rd party candidate last general election, 98% of them who went to the polls in Nov. 2008 ignored the good doctor's advice, screwed up and voted for the war pigs McCain and Obama...and if another war pig gets nominated you can expect another 98% of them to screw up again and vote for the Republican war pig nominee or the war pig Obama in 2012.

Some people confuse the term capitalism with corporatism. They are not opposed to capitalism.

That may be true of the people here at these forums, but almost all the people at these rallies are socialists or communists who are calling for an end to capitalism. They interviewed one guy who admitted that he's an outright Communist. Now, this group is actually going to the homes of the Koch brothers and other rich people in order to antagonize them for their success. If Ron wants to associate himself with this ridiculous movement, he'll go down to 1% in the polls for the GOP nomination.
