I hope that part of his stump speech includes an account of how sleazy the neocon wing of the GOP can be, and refer to the time that he spent with the McCain/Palin campaign.

Those who can't do, legislate.

Who does he support in the GOP? I read that he actually didn't like the McCain/Palin ticket because they supported the bailouts.

We need to get Campaign for Liberty to send him a survey and see where he really stands. His website lacks substance and what is there looks iffy.

That does not mean he can't be taught about Liberty and become one of us. Most of us were somewhere else before we came here.

Following the 2008 financial collapse, the Federal Reserve System gave out over a trillion dollars in discounted loans to private corporations and foreign banks without being subject to any audit by the American people. As a Congressman, I will co-sponsor a bill which will ensure a regular and complete audit of the Federal Reserve System’s use of public money. These audits will help protect the taxpayer from the cozy relationship between big government and big business.

Sounds like he's got some of it right.

Joe the Plumber goes off on McCain, says he 'screwed up my life'
By Eric Zimmermann - 02/14/10 12:12 PM ET
Joe the Plumber is no longer a fan of either Sarah Palin or John McCain, it seems.

Joe, also known as Sam Wurzelbacher, told an audience in Pennsylvania this week that McCain "is no public servant."

"McCain was trying to use me," Wurzelbacher said, according to public radio correspondent Scott Detrow. "I happened to be the face of middle Americans. It was a ploy.”
"I don’t owe him s—," Wurzelbacher continued. "He really screwed my life up, is how I look at it.”

In fact, Wurzelbacher's dislike for McCain is so strong that he no longer supports Sarah Palin simply because Palin will campaign for McCain's re-election.

As for Obama: "I think his ideology is un-American, but he’s one of the more honest politicians. At least he told us what he wanted to do."

As I remember it:

- Gained prominence by heckling a politician (never really appropriate or classy)
- Lied about his career/life story
- Attempted to cash in on his 15 minutes by starting a music career
- Now trying to enrich himself through "service"

It's funny how when you get a job or own a business, it's called work. When you get voted into office and receive an inflated salary and full benefits directly from the taxpayers, regardless of performance, its somehow "service." There are very few in Washington actually serving, RP being one of them, this wannabe reality TV star would not be.

Like when Senator Obama said he'd increase gov't transparency, close GITMO, end torture, restore civil liberties, and scale back the Wo(S)D?

He's on record as supporting Herman Cain. Watched it this morning on CNN.
