As of this moment, we have raised $3,080,000. Romney, got $3.1m in cash and pledges in January and by the time you read this we'll be past it. However, the NY Times gives us a real target to shoot for:

"Among 2008 presidential candidates, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton holds the record for raising the most in a single day: $6.2 million on June 30. But Mr. Paul has surpassed former Senator John Edwards’ best day: $2.5 million on March 31."


We're sending a powerful message already. What can they say about our "fringe/flake" status if we hit $6.3m today? It's safe to say this is the new goal...;)

We can do this! If everyone who donated today can double their donation, it would easily put us over $6 Million total for the day. Let's get to it guys!

If we hit 6.2 million today, I'm picking up a 2nd job that I'll donate solely to the campaign.

They would HAVE to acknowledge us if he beats Hillary's fundraiser, and ALL ONLINE.
It would be unprecedented.

Now that I realize it, there maybe alot more donations that occurred today offline, hopefully the campaign will update these by tomorrow.

I suggest changing the thread title to "The Goal: Beat Hillary's $6.2 Mil Day" and keep it bumped.

I think 300,000 was added today.

That happened shortly after midnight, so I'm pretty sure this was not today's offline money, but the past week or so.

I was referring to was the total raised today at the time I posted this.

I tried to edit the title, and on my first post it is changed, but at the top of the page the old title is still there. Why?

How do I fix this?
