Because display of such fanaticism over nothing more than a recorded conversation between two individuals on a philosophy can't possibly indicate anything else. The discussion was: interesting, refreshing, truthful, inspiring, eye-opening, educational, lively, ect ect

The only people who say we are in a 'cult' are statists who are throwing nonsensical insults at us. Changing our behavior when we're beating these awful people is a bad idea IMO. There is absolutely nothing about our movement that is like a cult. It's just a baseless insult they throw because their pea brains can't defend the bullshit whatever political party is telling them to believe.
