I went to OccupyTheFed in Houston today.

Saw Alex Jones speak. He did very well and got the crowd amped with some RP shoutouts.

I spoke to both hispanic and black veterans. I spoke to two Christians, they brought it up. I spoke to a raw food guy. That was about the only people I had conversations with that I didn't know. I didn't even try to find veterans or christians to speak to.

I also saw some RPF members. :)

Large parts of it looked like a Ron Paul rally. All the FUD needs to simmer down now.

There are so many people out there that are ripe for the picking.

When the media was telling the left that the Tea Party was racist. What they were saying is "Do not join forces with these people."

We hear constantly that the people at these protests are anti-capitalist or socialists.

If you want to spread the word locally, OccupyTheFed is where it's at.

Airfreshener not needed. :p

Also attended - nice to see you Josh. Lot's of energy in front of the massive Fed Reserve building in Houston. Many folks driving by on Allen Parkway beeping horns and high fives. RP supporters definitely out in force today.

So is this an occupation or just a protest? Are people sleeping outside the fed? The OWS movement has live feeds and donation sites set-up for the occupiers. Seems like that would be something worth emulating to ensure the longevity and exposure of any potential fed occupations.

I think our group would be better off focusing on getting Ron Paul elected.

These are good coalitions to hit with moneybomb/educational flyers.

War is just a racket. A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of people. Only a small inside group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few at the expense of the masses.

I believe in adequate defense at the coastline and nothing else. If a nation comes over here to fight, then we'll fight. The trouble with America is that when the dollar only earns 6 percent over here, then it gets restless and goes overseas to get 100 percent. Then the flag follows the dollar and the soldiers follow the flag.

I wouldn't go to war again as I have done to protect some lousy investment of the bankers. There are only two things we should fight for. One is the defense of our homes and the other is the Bill of Rights. War for any other reason is simply a racket.

And war is the most profitable racket in the world!

I've run into a lot of hispanic veterans who support Ron Paul here in Phoenix,AZ.Protesting the FED is what I advocate, calling for the end of fiat currency is a clear and decisive stance, and calling for the return of the gold standard is also honest to principles of sound money.I support this

Thanks for the comments on the photos - I'll try to attend more of the local Houston stuff in the future! I love to get out and photograph this sort of thing but I'm not really "in the know" since I haven't done much but try and establish my career since I've been here in Houston.

LOL she's 82nd Airborne. That means local. I can tell she's active duty because of the care she took to remove insignia and name/branch tapes.

You can't remember?! Is your short term memory that bad, are you really an old man afterall?

(just mocking a bit the way some said Ron should know exactly what Perry said and be able to repeat it to them) really some things that look memorable, aren't so much.

Yeah, but the beret is looking a little sloppy, don't you think?

Ha! The excitement didn't really hit me until I pulled out on Allen Parkway looking for a place to park and I saw that car. :) It is 100% covered on the sides with blue stickers and the white stickers on the top for a two-tone look.

When did they remove it? I got out in 2010 and we were still wearing them off base (required). I hated those things they looked like crap and no one wore them right. Not to mention incredibly unpractical.

Once you get away from the eastern seaboard, these Occupy protests get more interesting. OWS New York is pretty unsalvageable on the account that NYC is the capitol of the empire.
