View Full Version : Why I think we have an opportunity. OWS

The field is divided about the support of the OWS protests. I think we all agree that there are many ideas that are floating at these events from socialism to free market thoughts. Regardless if SEIU or unions or whomever is involved in motivating some, it does not mean that they have control of everyone's thoughts.....YET.

We have been screaming in these forums for years and asking "Why can't these brain dead people wake up" Well folks, they are waking up...They know something is wrong, very wrong. Many are very misguided, lost, and not worth saving, but many are looking for the answers that our message provides. Many are open to the ideas of freedom. Remember these famous words, "Freedom is Popular" These ideas will never disappear completely from the human brain.

So here is our dilemma, Do we watch from the sidelines as these evil organizations continue their vile indoctrination on these people that are really confused, concerned and have no clue what to do? Do we let these people with anti American socialist ideals sway these people who are looking for answers?
Or do we use this opportunity to contact these people with our message and keep igniting brush fires?

I look at this in the context of the "Tea Party"
Remember how the Tea Party was co-opted and easily stolen from us? Remember how we felt helpless and angry as it went from a liberty message to a message of war? Remember?

I think it's time we do our own hijacking and make sure that we expose the freedom message to all so that they have answers and choices. If they only see one side, the SEIU, socialist side, then they will eventually succumb to its power. We cannot sit back on the sidelines.

Don't give up, don't let them have these people without a fight. One mind at a time is all it takes.

WE ARE WINNING.

good post. Many of the people there attend the protests to learn, and if we don't teach them, others will.

Thanks,

I also want to say that the folks with the socialist agendas and such will not be happy about us being there spreading our message and may try to instigate. Please be safe and aware of traps.

Great post! Some other posters here could learn a thing or two from you. (see this thread (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?321343-Time-for-ron-paul-to-step-up-to-the-plate...now.)) I was all against it in that thread, but this is a reasonable and intelligible argument as to why we should get involved. I think I might change my mind about this.

We could all agree that we would be better off starting over. Anarchism until people form their own panarchies through enclaves.

Its laughable to talk about rule of law and "property rights" when these things require a military force and when we never have real freedom or ownership.

Just use Bakunin and how Marxist "history" or historical materialism was spot on but Marx went wrong with insisting on a central state. Bakunin in "Statism and Anarchy" had better ideas on how to organize. (Free ebook on Android)

Nice. its a numbers game....all we need is the voters to show up and know who to vote for for real freedom and change

I agree that we should be there educating these political truthseekers. It would be stupid not to...However, you can bet that right-wing conservative neocons (Hannity, Limbaugh, Beck, Medved, etc.) will be doubling down against us. One thing for sure, we don't have to worry about their listeners hijacking it, as they've already become terrified of all these "hippies." BLOWBACK.

Only RON PAUL can bridge the gap.
