Justin Amash (R-Mich.)
Amash, a freshman Republican, has bucked his party on issues like raising the nation’s debt ceiling and on defunding Planned Parenthood. He’s even endorsed Rep. Ron Paul’s presidential campaign. But his offbeat style hasn’t worked on the fundraising front – through June, he raised a little more than $256,000. He’ll need more than that to defend his seat: Michigan Republicans last month finalized a redistricting map that turned his previously Republican-friendly Grand Rapids-area seat into one that leans slightly Democratic.
