Ignorance maybe. But I think that will not last for long with protests against the Federal Reserve and Cain being a defender of the fed. Wait until these people wake up to seeing in the news Cain's 9% additional sales tax on all their purchases or hear how he testified before Congress in favor of a 23% sales tax years prior to 999.

He is just new in the eyes of these people and they just do not know enough about him at this point.

Perry will be the "Thompson" of the 2008 primaries and

Cain will be the "Giuliani" of the 2008 primaries.

I don't think it is a bogus poll. There is a huge block of ABO (anybody but obama) voters that are just desperate for someone that they think can win. Cain is starting to fit that profile. He is black so they think it will nutralize racist attacks and he might even pick up some black voters. He is not a politician but a businessman which is what another huge block of voters are looking for. Romney always got this block. don't fool yourselves Cain is making a run, whether he stays there is anybodies guess.

I think Ron Paul's campaign needs to take some swings at Cain, not in a tacky way, but enough to get the message out there that Cain is not who he claims to be. This is discouraging, but Cain has a lot of baggage... if we can just expose it somehow...

Cain will be the "Giuliani" of the 2008 primaries.

I see Cain as more of the Huckabee of 2012-put forth to lead a certain demographic that will buy the tripe that is shoveled at them and then Cain will fall and Romney will rise from the ashes....
