View Full Version : Influencing Occupy Wall Street from your Chair!

I know many people on this forum refuse to associate Ron Paul with OWS, and I at least somewhat understand that sentiment.

However, OWS is now offering votes online for its "demands". Seeing as how we are Ron Paul supporters, we should easily have the capacity to start controlling the results, which could potentially let us steer the movement (or at least part of it). At worst, they claim it was "rigged" by Ron Paul supporters who control the internets, which would be pretty ironic seeing as how they are supposed to be at least partially an anon operation.

Anyway, the votes go HERE: hxxp://coupmedia.org/occupywallstreet/occupy-wall-street-official-demands-2009

I don't know a damn thing about OWS. But my gut tells me to stay apart from it.

Its not like we lose anything by influencing their online polls.

I would vote but unable to find the End The Fed option? ok, so what other option should all of us vote on?

There WAS a "congress should take over the Fed" option, if you want.

Anyway, right now there is "Drug War should be ended" (for), "Patriot Act should be repealed" (for), and various things to vote against on ("equality laws", "Buffett taxes", etc)

Oh, and flooding their comments might help. "End the Fed outright", "End Legal Tender" and "Repeal Amendment XVI" are all good ones.

You can also vote "No" on things like Nationalize Healthcare.

There's a way to get to a page where there is a drop-down, u just select each thing and "Yes" or "No"

3 End the War On Drugs 4703
4 Re Investigate the Attacks of 9-11-2001 4681
5 CONGRESS ENACT LEGISLATION TO PROTECT OUR DEMOCRACY BY REVERSING THE EFFECTS OF THE CITIZENS UNITED SUPREME COURT DECISION 4125
6 Forced Acquisition of the Federal Reserve for $1Billion 3526

Vote yes to the good ones and no to the others. Also, as I said in another thread we can propose some demands to be voted on.

Our influence in numbers could get them on track and moving in the right direction.

Yes, but Congress shouldn't take over the fed. That is transfering the power from one set of authoritarians to another. It should be ended.

Why are so many people here advocating staying away from this, especially when we have a chance to reach out and educate? Also the reasoning for staying away is non existent, I have yet to hear a good argument, as to why we should not be there.

To the OP... excellent idea!!!

This thing, in its current state, is poison for trying to get Ron Paul the Republican nomination as well as a win in the general election.

What does "Forced Acquisition of the Federal Reserve for $1Billion" mean?
