Writer David Hanson wants you to help him plan a wedding between the most unlikely of partners: Occupy Wall Street and the Tea Party. Today, Hanson released a video address and Worldnetdaily.com article building the case for an alliance between the two populist groups to rein in corruption and exploitation in Washington.

Hanson urges the media to take these growing movements seriously. But first, Occupy Wall Street and the Tea Party must understand the source of our economic woes.

Can you people really be this stupid? Are you deliberately trying to DESTROY Ron Paul and all he stands for? WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU CLOWNS? These are marxist/socialist sponsored by George Soros and his ilk. They have NOTHING to do with what the tea party really stands for. FFS they were shouting they wanted Obama re-elected! OWS are the epitome of everything the tea party does NOT stand for.

Get a clue guys!

If McCain was elected the "tea party" would be shouting "re elect McCain". There's really no difference between the tea party grunts and the occupy Wall Street grunts. Both set of grunts are clueless about what's really going on. And if you think they're really that different you're clueless too. David Hanson didn't say anything about Ron Paul. He's talking about educating both groups.

let's "marry" the Tea Party, the Lobertarians, the Communists, ACORN, the Black Panthers, the Weather Underground, La Raza and SEIU too.

seriously, this is idiotic. You cannot hijack a movement that is already an Establishment tool.

Did you even watch the video? I would say... no. I can really throw this all right back at you. Are you so stupid to not want to take advantage of this opportunity to get new supporters? Why are some of you on here so against reaching out across the party lines and actually educating people? Once people know and learn the truth about liberty and the FED, they will likely begin to question their Marxist and socialistic views too.

Surely you weren't always a Ron Paul supporter right?

It's a tough job to stand up for drones. Many of us are on either side of the issue but we support RP. While some may not like ure position, most of us do. Just agree to disagree with them. Most RP folk don't take kindly to the haters that want the fed to rule and we all take note..

Another excellent video from my friend, David.

Education is the first step in righting all wrongs. And educating those with a passion in their hearts to make change is the wisest first step of all.

What better way to vanquish enemies than to make them allies?

You have given out too much Reputation in the last 24 hours, try again later.

Some people just are unable to think strategically. Either that or their still at least partially wed to their part of the false left/right paradigm. The "tea party" is just as coopted as OWS. We need to reach people in both camps that are open to the message of liberty to win this thing.

That's a blatant mischaracterization. McCain was reviled and that's why he got trounced. Secondly, he endorsed TARP.

Actively uniting these two groups around a true understanding of government--monopoly of violence--is the way we can actively subvert the establishment's attempts to hijack both. The only way the establishment wins is when we spend our time ostracized from one half of the rest of the country because they seem ignorant.

Open your eyes people. Uniting under a common bond could help give us all the voice we need to finally take back our country.

Look at Dr. Paul reach out to Democrats and others that don't always share his views to help achieve certain goals, write certain bills and make things happen. Take advantage of this opportunity as the good doctor would.

The blind and ignorant reject opportunity when it approaches them. The wise seek it out.

Ron Paul aligned with Cynthia McKinney and Ralph Nader 4 years ago on common ground, and we have A LOT of common ground with OWS.

Anti-bank bailout

Anti-fed

Anti-war

Anti-drug war

Anti-corporatism

Some of us are simply choosing to follow his example.

Not hardly. The GOP brand had already fallen in 2006 because of the wars. Then on top of that the economy sucked. Folks who didn't like McCain in large numbers voted for Obama. The idea that it was "just conservatives staying home" is a dangerous myth. There were record numbers of people voting in the democratic primary that year. Yes McCain sucked and TARP was bad. But I personally know rank and file republicans who blindly lined up behind McCain and defended him on TARP only to come out later and attack TARP as if Obama was the only one supporting it. Plus at the tea parties I attended the crowd was all about "They attacked our president before, now we'll attack theirs" as if Bush was somehow a hero even though Bush initiated TARP. The tea parties have been almost totally co-opted by the same type of drones that got us in this mess to begin with. Some are so dumbed down that they even think Sarah Palin had always opposed TARP. If you think these Palin drones wouldn't be cheering on McCain/Palin right now....well I don't even know what to say to that.

If we don't create coalitions around common liberty views, the establishment will continue to co-opt both movements. That's a shame.
