Wouldn't this make people use cash?

Well if you use it even once you get the $5 flat fee. It's kind of insidious.

Most cards have a cash\credit option, which amount to the same thing so idk if the credit one charges you.

Can someone explain to me...we use our check card as "credit". I never choose debit. Why would I still get charged a fee? Or do I not have to worry?

Time to start using credit cards + pay balances online.
