If you haven't already read this article/interview on Paul's campaign site, check it out.

This is going to make for a very interesting next debate. Both Paul and Cain believe what the President did with Al-Awlaki was unconstitutional...and you have Cain rising in the polls and both Perry and Romney praising Obama for the assassination. I was worried that none of the other Republican contenders would denounce Obama's actions. This gives Paul leeway in the next debate since now he can't be singled out as the only one who believes this action was wrong.

The next steps that need to be taken in order to discredit Cain are to publicize his support for TARP, his disinterest in the Federal Reserve, and I think we can actually make something out of the fact that he's never spent time in public office, while Paul has been in both public and private.

I see this as a very good thing for Paul. At the same time, who knows how much more time Cain will get in the next debate with his rising numbers. They'll try to develop some type of wedge between the two. But we know that wedge is the fact that Cain supports big government interference with corporations.

Perhaps he could be asked something about how he'd feel if Godfather's Pizza went under and the Federal Government decided to step in?

Really? He now believes it was right? If that's the case then Paul can simply mention what he originally said and bring up the constant flip-flopping.

Well, this needs to be addressed then. How do we go about it? The base needs to know about his deceitfulness.

It seems that Cain has a long history of flip-flopping on issues even before he got national attention. Check out this article from 2005: http://www.newshounds.us/2005/12/03/herman_cain_flipflops_on_iraq_withdrawal.php

Apparently Cain completely changed his position on the withdrawal of American troops from Iraq within one hour! A fast flip-flopper indeed.

We sent Drudge the story on the flip flop but he doesn't seem interested, he has a different 'Paul' piece up about impeaching Obama. I think he thinks Christie will come in and Cain will disappear sooner rather than later, in any event.

My impression of Cain went from positive to neutral in a day. Now its gone from neutral to negative in another day. He's now on the "They're all the same list" with Obama, Perry, and Romney.

I really hope Paul brings up Cain's position as he stated it in the next debate if the issue comes up. Even though he flip flopped you can still call that 1 and a half on the right side of the issue instead of just one.

I was listening to Rush today during lunch and he said Christie is bringing together a large group of "donors" to make an announcement on Thursday. Speculating an announcement to join the race, apparently.

Even if Cain did flip flop, trust me, the moderators of the next debate would only put this question to marginalize Paul.

So Ron reflects it back on Cain who once espoused this idea.
