I just noticed that http links on this forum show full title of a thread you click on. For example:

hxxx://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?319605-Obama-A-disaster-for-civil-liberties

On another forum, thread titles do not appear in http links of browser. Not sure what privacy implications are of the two styles and if any rogue program can steal people's browser history. Has RP forum always had titles in http links?

wouldn't that be a function of the vbulletin software?

I don't know much about vb, it might be or a default.

It is beneficial for SEO when the keywords are in the url.

Vbulletin forums that use older software do not have keywords in the url.

I think they changed this in 4.0.

You have internet history logs on your computer created by your browser. They can be cleared.

Thanks for explanation. True, history can be cleared. I just noticed the difference as on another vb forum just some random numbers show in browser http links.

I was going to start a thread with the title "Obama is an incompetent fool" but now I'll just start threwad with title "Is Obama really super smart?" and put what I really think in the body of post LOL
