Go at the root of the problem.

The Wall Street powers that be are nothing but opportunist. Easy credit and free flowing cash from the FED is what gives them powers. Why are these protesters so stupid?

Not that they understand the Fed, but big government advocates need a Fed or the welfare/warfare state would come to a screeching halt. But to start planting seeds, they should read Eliot Spitzer's Fed Dread:
http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/the_best_policy/2009/05/fed_dread.html
But then they'll just say "we just don't have the right people in the Fed", or that America should nationalize the central bank like England did, which is what Kucinich advocates

We should come up with a flyer explaining that it's the fed that allows all these big corporations to fuck the little man over and hand it out to all the protesters

A powerful flyer would be much preferable to a video. Any takers? Viva Revolution.

A lot of them are extremely leftist/socialist.

Also 5th plank of the communist manifesto, "Centralisation of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly."

I can't stand those protesters. I am not a big fan of the solidarity/99%er/Marxist crap. I like individualism. Their demands make them look ignorant. They don't understand that the Fed's fiat monetary system is the problem. They are progressives wanting another New Deal.

Our biggest flaw (yet most fascinating attribute) is that we are trying to start a mass (collectivist) movement with independent (individualist) persons.

All heads of the SAME BEAST, any evidence that points to the contrary is an illusion.

They're just that...stupid. These are a bunch of sissy-ass-college kids who have this false mentality of "Us. vs Them" or "Poor vs. Rich", when in fact a majority of those people are just spoiled brats getting a free ride from mommy & daddy, when they were never poor. These protesters are also driven by the "liberal" elite like Michael Moore, and every other opportunist jackass. You'll never see these protestor protesting the root of the problem (goverment).

Progressivism seems more like a lifestyle rather than a cogent philosophy at times. I really believe this herd coolness factor is what draws in many of these college students. They're too intimidated to stray off the popular path and in turn swallow it hook, line and sinker. Sure, there are true believers who can fully articulate their complaints, but they are few and far between.

They are ignorant of those facts. All they know (most of them) is that they are pissed at the corruption.
All they have seen is the Big Money running rampant, and getting bailouts.

They really don't understand the root causes and are attacking the symptoms.
The Naysayers are discouraging any from joining and presenting actual solutions, so the only voice and leadership they are hearing is on the socialist side.
Common sense will be drowned out. Eventually the government will instigate more violence.

Why must you involve RP in this? Can you imagine the photo-op making it look like RP supporters are aligned with a Soros-sponsored event?

CaptainAmerica

because someone staged the event and lemmings showed up thinking they are geniuses that magically organized it out of thin air.

Where do you get that this is a Soro's "sponsored" event?

This started Online with Anonymous. It has been discussed online with many many voices contributing.
An event was suggested and promoted. Now it has moved from Cyberspace to the street.

If Soros is taking the lead it is because he is allowed to do so.
This was not started by occupywallstreet.org. They just jumped on it, and are being vocal. They are getting the media attention because they are out and seen.
Alternative views and solutions are not getting the media attention because they are silent or few.

Why would they protest the Fed? The people behind this don't care about the Fed. They just want to make sure Obama gets reelected.
