What he said in his initial BBC interview that earned him fame is correct. However, a subsequent interview makes him come off as a sleazy up and coming wannabe investment guru. He actually said "I'm not lying because I'm religious." in an interview. Typical con-artist thing to say. He claims to be training other people to trade. A real red flag would be if his books and materials cost hundreds of dollars as opposed fifty at the most.

saying the stock market is toast is essentially saying there is no value in any publicly traded company in America. While the stock market is definitely inflated in value, its not worthless.
