New Video Praises Days of Rage: ‘I See Corporatism, Fascism, Crony Capitalism…a Police State’ (http://www.theblaze.com/stories/new-video-praises-days-of-rage-i-see-corporatism-fascism-crony-capitalism-a-police-state/)

Have you seen the new mini-documentary, “Nobody Can Predict the Moment of Revolution,” highlighting the Days of Rage protests (http://www.theblaze.com/news/days-of-rage/) and delving into the reasons why people continue to “occupy” Wall Street? Allow me to recap.

The video, which was created by Iva Radivojevic (http://www.ivaasks.com/about-iva) and appears to praise the leftist protest, starts with a voiceover that rails against American actions, both domestically and abroad:

“I see corporatism, fascism, crony capitalism. I don’t see a free market. I see a police state. I see an American empire. I see 700 military bases in a 135 foreign countries. I see 5,000 dead bodies in Iraq — a welfare, warfare state which gives out billions of dollars in foreign aid for dictators to build up huge armies. I see, uh, America that’s lost its way…Finally, we’ve risen up.”

Following this “uplifting” message, individuals are shown throughout the video, as people, both young and old, who attempt to explain and legitimize the protests.

One young woman says, ”It’s a model for a new society…it’s not a protest in the sense of being against something. It’s a way to formulate, um, something new.”

Another young main described it as, “A mass awareness. A mass realization…an awakening of the masses, to the, to the, to the…obstruction of justice that has been a part of our lives for too long now.”

Confused? We don’t blame you. Below, watch the full video for more:

Also, there’s a new online space for the “Occupy Wall Street” movement — OccupyTogether.org (http://occupytogether.org/). This web site, which is apparently intended to aggregate all of the protest content, describes itself as follows:

Welcome to OCCUPY TOGETHER, a hub for all of the events springing up across the country in solidarity with Occupy Wall St. (http://www.occupywallst.org/) As we have followed the news on facebook, twitter, and the various live feeds across the internet, we felt compelled to build a site that would help spread the word as more protests organize across the country. We hope to provide people with information about events that are organizing, ongoing, and building across the U.S. as we, the 99%, take action against the greed and corruption of the 1%.

In what proponents are dubbing “a leaderless resistance movement,“ Americans who are angry with Wall Street continue to ”occupy” downtown Manhattan. We’ll leave you with another (borderline creepy) protest video:

Ron Paul & the teaparty should JOIN in & talk with this MOVEMENT. Lot's of common ground here & we ned to educated them on finanicial superpowers that STEAL from taxpayers thru the GOV. Certainly not ALL business is bad.

Dismissing the people in the street as soley "lefties" & not joing in is cowardly (IMO)

Still trying to this out. Government is corrupt in bed with lobbyist. Lets fix the problem by making the government bigger and give it more cash from the middle class.

I read some of their manifesto on that site and one directive is too massively expand the SEC and give it more enforcement powers. That's funny. The SEC exists solely to cover up the crimes. It serves no regulatory function, other than stifling smaller competition.

Why should our movement align itself with people so utterly clueless?

You are going to have to convince me with more than just saying I'm "scared".

I say we all move to New Hamsphire, declare our Independence, and let the other 49 rot in oblivion for all I care. Let the NY socialists destroy their own community. At least we'll have one place on this Earth that gives hope to humanity.

Yep. Carve out some liberty for ourselves while we watch these maniacs destroy everything.

Yea, the same Blaze that gave marquee treatment to Ron Paul's Daily Show interview:

Why delete it? Your authoritarian-themed articles don't get deleted. If your authoritarian-themed articles remain on the boards, don't you think there is room for good ol' Glen?

If you guys want the anti-corporatism message to be drowned out by the socialism message, then by all means listen to the OP and AquaBuddha2010 and don't go to these protests.

If you want to help educate people on where corporatism comes from and why big government has gotten us into this and help focus on the protests on corporatism, then GO TO THE PROTEST WITH AN END THE FEDERAL RESERVE SIGN!!

I'm going to go there to attack the federal government and corporate cronyism it promotes. It's sure going to be interesting.

Well then you are not going to protest. You are going to protest and educate the protesters. Big difference. If I lived close I would go too.

The reason why the protests are becoming more focused on corporatism are because our people got involved early and made it about that.. Now that the unions are getting involved, we need to step it up!!

I'm going to be protesting the big banks and Wall St. just like everyone else, I'll just have a different slant on how we need to get them under control.

that was the goal from the beginning. Sure, they don't like Wall Street being given certain favors, but what really pisses them off is that the proverbial cupboard is empty for their social justice based, all-powerful state. Nevertheless, we should enter the jungle and attempt to educate.

I got some ideas for signs:

- THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND WALL STREET ARE PARTNERS IN CRIME.

- CORPORATE WELFARE IS MORALLY WRONG

- WALL STATE PLUTOCRATS LOVE BIG GOVERNMENT
