Hey, I just wanted to give a quick praise for the "For Liberty" DVDs. My family knows that I'm a Ron Paul supporter but I've been waiting for them to approach me on Ron Paul. My wife, who is not political at all, suddenly asked out of no where if I had a DVD on Ron Paul. I watched it with her and she was blown away by it. She started to cry and she said, "How can they get away with treating such a humble person like that? It's not right!" A few days later I walked in on her talking about Ron Paul positively to her mom, "Mom, you've gotta check out this Ron Paul guy running for President. He's so sweet and genuine!" So starting to make some ground there.

I also found out that my parents were Perry supporters (they're life long Texans and republicans). So I left a copy of the DVD at their house to watch at their convenience. My Mom e-mailed me today:

"I took the opportunity to watch the DVD. All I can say is WOW. Is this guy real? A person who actually listens to the American people and wants to put this nation back to it's orginal origins? '. . . a govenment of the people, by the people, for the people. . .' What a concept! I think we are taxed to death and there is no longer any accountablity on how our money is spent. ***personal story about my Dad's 401k that the government stole from*** How's that fair--"our" money should be to our own doing--not the governments. So yeah, it is very refreshing to hear someone speak for the people."

These DVDs are great and really show people just how badly Ron Paul is treated for telling the truth. I used the 60 minute recut version, it makes it less intimidating to watch, I think. Put these DVDs in your campaigning tool belt! :D

The DVD is a killer tool for the liberty movement. It never fails.

My aunt had some ladies out to watch the last debate and my mom went to it. They were pretty undecided as far as who to vote for and I am going to order dvd's to pass out to them.

State Reps, State Senators, ect. Especially if you are in NH or Iowa.

My only wish is that the movie had focused on the coming recession and the housing crisis instead of being mostly focused on foreign policy.

I'm surprised the For Liberty DVD doesn't get more of a push here. Would anybody contribute to a chipin to buy 1000 and distribute them here in the midwest, Iowa included?

I would. There was a thread a while back that you posted in that had a great idea. If someone could organize it and start a chipin, it would be a great project. http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?304002-Send-For-Liberty-Recut-to-all-IA-reps-senators/

Could always hand out to people as well.

+rep to OP. Hell yeah, love the story. We've heard sooo many of these now I've lost count. The film has woken up untold amounts of people, and the Re-cut (http://ronpaulfilm.com) is definitely what people should be using right now. Thanks for all the kind words as well to they rest of ya'll :)

What would it take to get it on Netflix streaming, I wonder.

Add it to your Queue. It's been an "added title" for over a year. When they will actually acquire it is another question.

Edit - we should launch a campaign where people call in to request they make it available.

Netflix is supposedly splitting their rental and streaming. Should we petition the streaming site more?
