If we keep getting a bit over 200,000.00 per hour, as we have been doing for the past few hours, we will clear 7 MILLION!!!

Do you mean will we blow past it on our way to a much higher number? Yes! Absolutely.

6.25 million and we are in the record books. Really for this point in the primaries we already are.

Time for the neocons to get into a warm bath with a bunch of razor blades.

I think the biggest part is still coming. The graphs always show a big boost in the evening. I can't wait to see how f*cking huge it's going to be!

Web designer: We better put six million to be safe.

Jessie: Holy S**T, you better get to work on another widget because GRASSROOTS IS GOING TO BUST THIS ONE ALL TO HELL!!!

Next question: Will we beat John Kerry's record of $3 million dollars in online donations in one day?

This is so AMAZING! Let's keep donating.

Donate again - If you gave $100, give another $100 or $50 or $200. Let's make today so explosive that it won't fit in the history books!

I am maxed out at $2,300, but I just got a friend at his office who was a fence sitting Ron Paul supporter to donate $100 and over dinner my father, who I converted from a Giuliani supporter about a month ago, will give $1,000.00 once I show him how to do it online. He was stoked to hear how well RP is doing, and he once supported Giuliani of all people (that's how we get older, mainstream voters - convert our parents, aunts, uncles, etc. and let them convert their friends).

Let's show the the MSM and the world that Ron Paul is truly, easily TOP-TIER.

The campaign letter today asked to beat Romney's one day $3.1M. SCREW THAT!

Let's BLOW AWAY Obama's $4 million in one day. Let's LEAVE OBAMA IN THE DUST!

Our goal should be $6 million - MINIMUM!

reuters: "Ron Paul, a candidate that has no chance of winning anything because we say so, has raised $6M dollars in one day. On its face this may seem impressive, but this amount still palls in comparison to the dream which Artillary Clinton had last weekend in which she raised a whopping $67M in a mere 14 hours. So there"

are you asking about us raising 6 million only today, or 6 for the entire quarter thus far?

because i think there's no question about hitting 6 million for the quarter today. the current widget will only be valid for the next 2 or 3 hours, and then we'll break through the top. they need to design a new one pronto.

as for how high it might go, who knows. in all of our previous donation drives, there has always been a large push in the late evening as people see how far we've gotten and they want to participate, or they try to get it in before the deadline. either way, we should expect the same to occur here. what we've done so far, i predict will be overshadowed by what will be done tonight.

they should update the widget to go up to 8 million. maybe even 9 just to be safe. i think either of these would be realistic, attainable goals, and yet achieving either would be absolutely extraordinary for us.

the important thing is, we will reach 6 for the quarter today. this will mean we're halfway to our goal of 12 for the quarter, with more than half of the quarter to go. even if our grassroots support doesn't increase a single member between now and the end of Q4, we will be able to reach our goal. i think $15 million for the quarter is easily attainable.

We've got a number of goals to try to reach today:

Pass 50% of Quarterly Fund Raising Goal by end of day (break 6M total - but this is already as good as done)
Break Romney's 2008 single day record (3.1M)
Break the previous Quarter's fundraising total that got so much MSM attention in a SINGLE DAY ($5.26M - I'd LOVE to hit this one!)

I, and I know plenty of others, have already decided to go beyond our original pledge with a second donation later today (e.g. 4PM Boost). Some are going to double their original pledge - others are doing more than that. I encourage everyone to consider the same - if you can at at all, this is the time to go for it.
