Now that the Federal Court has reaffirmed the Tenth Amendment in the Wyoming Sheriffs Association versus the Feds/IRS/EPA/BTFA then the constriction of fed goonsquaderry can be done at the county level by getting Liberty Sheriffs elected in their respective counties. Perhaps we should be focusing some secondary guns in that direction as a vector of this momentum. There are a number of very level headed law enforcement types around here who voice displeasure at the antics and tactics of their former brethren LEO's. Maybe they can set the record straight. The WY Sheriffs are wanting to look at the BATF's records to make sure they are not keeping a database of WY citizens owning firearms..which is against WY Law. How cool is that?

According to this (http://politicalvelcraft.org/2011/09/22/wyoming-sheriffs-told-federal-batf-irs-agents-to-abide-by-the-constitution-or-face-immediate-arrest/) page and quotes from the actual judge in question, the whole Wyoming Federal Judge ruling thing is a bit of an embellishment.

also details at http://www.godlikeproductions.com/forum1/message227513/pg1

There are other rulings and legislation in the works as noted however.

I recommend the book "The County Sheriff America's Last Hope" by Sheriff Mack http://www.sheriffmack.com/index.php/books-by-richard-mack

The Sheriff is the highest law enforcement in the land, above all state and federal officers. They have the authority to prevent or throw out unlawful federal intrusions.

This is the office we should be concentrating on, not congresspeople or senators. And frankly, presidential races really are only necessary for rallying folks and building lists of local like minded supporters.

Most County Sheriff's can be elected with 5,000 votes, check out your county election records, most are online. You can personally petition that many voters if you knock on 100 doors 50 different days between elections...
