True. We need to show up ready to support Ron Paul!!
PB from the Broward/Palm Beach groups is bringing signs. We should also bring flyers to hand out to the people attending the conference. The best would be a comparison of Rudy McRomneyson to Ron Paul.

Any ideas??

Great idea. Is there a flyer design that contains these comparison/contrast ? It would save us the trouble of using existing flyers for this. We just to adapt the info that exists on the net to make this flyer. Someone please work on this and post it in this topic so we can all have a look.

BUT, even though we'll be there on the 4th and 5th, I did notice that there is a Presidential Straw Poll on Saturday evening for the convention attendees. Can we rally outside on Saturday too???

You have to pay $$$ to get in there. Notice how Mitt Romney is using his big $$$ purse to host a huge dinner right before the Straw Poll.

I cased the entire place today for 2 hours.

The convention center is actually one huge wing south of the hotel. It has 3 floors and I was able to get a picture with my phone of the stage and setup for the event (they were setting up!).

If we go in the hotel, it may cause the YRNC folks to complain to the hotel staff and we'll get tossed. However, I checked with the hotel security and we can stand on the sidewalk and median.

Also, there is a public beach access walkway that will be heavily used for people going to the beach on the 4th. We can pass out stuff there too.

One more thing...

Not much free parking. Easiest place to park is on the west side in the Weston's parking garage: 0-2 hrs = $3, 2-3 hrs = $5.

The rally at the YRNC last night was wet, BUT a success!!!
Some are back out there this morning until 11AM while the participants of the convention begin attending their various seminars and speeches.

Yesterday, we were out there shouting Ron Paul and waving the signs at all the cars driving by on A1A. Based on the number of positive honks we were getting from the cars going by, you'd think Ron was set to win the Florida primary. Oh, wait, I'm sorry MSM, maybe he just might!!

We handed out over 340 flyers and business cards to the cars that stopped at red lights. 60%+ were receptive, 25% were asking "Who is Ron Paul?", and the rest turned down the flyers.

There was a professional camera crew out there filming the event and answers to Ron Paul questions.

When will this be on YouTube????!? This will be great footage!!
