View Full Version : Huntsman says that he 'and Ron Paul' are both in 2nd place in NH. Not sure how that works.

He also says that he, Huntsman is going to have 20%.

But catch this:

He insisted that he had a plan to make the US independent for its energy supply, though he didn’t spell it out. In fact, Huntsman was glib and positive, but his solutions lacked real substance. One of his handlers told me t hat Huntsman’s real goal is to prepare to run for the White House in 2016.

So, does that mean both of them will now not be mentioned in headlines?

Not only Huntsman's ridiculous statement, but I really like the opening sentence:

Presidential candidate Jon Huntsman, who is running 2nd in the Republican polling in New Hampshire...

Oh really? I must not have gotten the memo.

Yeah, I thought the same thing, but the 'handler' saying Huntsman was only running as a preview for 2016 kinda took it out of my thoughts for a minute.

Oh, I'm sure he is, but people say 'statistical tie' not 'we're both in second'. Ron had 14% and Huntsman had 10%.

Actually he's tied for fourth with Bachmann.

LOL!

Clearly, he was only cherry picking the Suffolk University poll.

Depending on the poll he is either 3rd, 4th or 5th in NH. Maybe someday he will be 2nd in NH, I don't know. Right now Paul and/or Perry is 2nd in NH. So, it is a lie.

In all seriousness if he starts spending lots of time in NH, beware though. He could "pull a McCain" if he shakes every hand in NH 5 times.

Well, if/when Christie jumps in the race things will change in these polls. Likely, C will be the last person in so the race should be measured up in reality at that point. Good thing for us is that we have our ads running for at least a month plus the Xtra money being spent on other forms of outreach over the next 30 days. So, will our money being spent over the next two fort nights out-rival that of the free media which is being bestowed on Cain (now), Perry, Romney and likely C? Adding another front-runner to the race with Fox support may knock us down and/or neutralize some of our immediate future gains but having a muddled field more than ever will put us w/i striking distance of the win.

Seems the Est thinks they can add another boob to keep the field on ice but they only siphon off their own support amongst their anointed ones. Frankly, with another Est in the race, all of their crew gets leveled down for us to make a higher move sooner. If Cain gets spoiled of his straw poll win (which the Est has been bugging C more than ever to get involved) by bringing C into the mix, then it works out better for us. It will stop Santorum's and Huntsman's gains along with finishing off Bachmann. Might be just enough to supplement our ads and allow their competition to come over to us to buck off the Est folks.

Then, if we can end the qtr strong, let our ads run their course and add %s to our rolls and get nasty for the BTO bomb=Game time!
