Should Dr. Paul or at least his campaign make an issue of it? I know that the others will say they'll work for free once Dr. Paul says how much he'll give back to the taxpayer, but then all we'll have to do is look at their records and expose them. I doubt Romney gave much, if any of his salary back to the MA treasury, we know Bachmann has lived off the tax payer, and it's unlikely that Perry or Huntsman gave much, if any, of what was stolen back to the taxpayer.
The ethics of liberty includes, at the very least, statesmen giving some of what was stolen back to the tax payer.
The thing that's so screwed up about it, is that Romney was already wealthy, yet he never mentioned giving anything back to the tax payer. He willfully raised more MA revenues than the previous governor.
Maybe it wouldn't be a good idea though and it certainly shouldn't be my call.
