That was a great interview!

I read Peters new book that he's now advertising in his interviews and I must say, it's truly excellent.

I bought and read Peter and Andrew Schiffs Book "How an Economy Grows and Why it Crashes" on my recent vacation, and I feel so dam confident about how economies work now.

The book is extremely light reading, almost like a comic book with a humerous story that satirizes bad economic ideas and reinforces very principled points about how economies work. I can't understate how enjoyable and easy this book was to read. I'm a much bigger fan of Schiff now, having read this little masterpiece.

It's like "Economics in One Lesson" by Henry Hazlitt translated into a humerous little story.

How an Economy Grows and Why it Crashes uses illustration, humor, and accessible storytelling to explain complex topics of economic growth and monetary systems. In it, economic expert and bestselling author of Crash Proof, Peter Schiff teams up with his brother Andrew to apply their signature "take no prisoners" logic to expose the glaring fallacies that have become so ingrained in our country?s economic conversation.

Inspired by How an Economy Grows and Why It Doesn?t?a previously published book by the Schiffs? father Irwin, a widely published economist and activist? How an Economy Grows and Why It Crashes?incorporates the spirit of the original while tackling the latest economic issues. With wit and humor, the Schiffs explain the roots of economic growth, the uses of capital, the destructive nature of consumer credit, the source of inflation, the importance of trade, savings, and risk, and many other topical principles of economics.

The tales told here may appear simple of the surface, but they will leave you with a powerful understanding of How an Economy Grows and Why it Crashes.

I hope when Dr. Paul got elected, he appoints Peter Schiff as the Secretary of the Treasury.
Peter will make the best Secretary.

Huck seemed impressed. Great interview.

would've been nice if Peter had offered the Huckster a solution: "Vote for Ron Paul!"

This is a pretty epic interview. These sort of interviews sink into republicans like a hot knife into butter.

Very often the Accountancy guild fails to serve and protect their clients, in deference to building myth based fears to bolster their market position.

The Libertarian Party's current accountant treasurer fosters an unfounded, myth based interpretation of the codes which causes the party to discriminate against functional libertarians, (those not participating in Social Security enumeration and credit building). Most accountants will quickly disclaim any knowledge or expertise in the codes, yet maintain an adamant position against doing business with functional libertarians. In corporate and accounting policy, the CPA certificate apparently trumps all codes and regulations and effectively circumvents the Constitution.

There seems to be a sense in LP leadership that utilizing mitigating codes and regulations, which are designed for this specific situation, is an invitation for IRS political targeting or external litigation by others with no jurisdictional standing. By avoiding the very codes that enable a human to choose to avoid federal US socialism, the accounting industry assures itself a huge windfall of workload which it otherwise wouldn't enjoy.

Unfortunately, the Libertarian Party is as slippery as the major parties in dealing with lawfulness, whistle-blowing and administrative policy.
Those two issues and another tangential one on ballot access execution are addressed at the link below.
