*Admin - Recommend sticky through Tuesday?*

This should be a good one. Jon Stewart and his staff have shown tremendous hutzpah in airing RP material over the last month. Let's support this show with High Ratings: TIVO, DVR, facebook. The higher the ratings the more likely Comedy Central will have him back on.

Go to the Daily Shows site and boost all his views, but also take a walk down nice memory lane as well!

Plus the "Corn-Polled" Ron Paul segment is one of the most-watched on the site!!! Get it even further this weekend!
I'm excited about the new segment, it should give an even brighter look into their relationship!!

Comedy Central. All shows are available the next day after airing on thedailyshow.com

You can also see Ron's other two appearances on the show on that site; prior to an 07 debate (http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/mon-june-4-2007/ron-paul)and after he released "End the Fed" (http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/tue-september-29-2009/ron-paul))

Agreed, bump all the old vids to the top. But old media still holds sway, so Neilson ratings and Tivo/DVR recordings are still boss.

Is this a quadruple post? There have been lots of those lately. But seriously Ron should take a few lessons from Rand. When he went on the DS Rand tried to sound as reasonable as possible, and diverted many attempts to take the conversation down the wrong path. There is enormous potential to get former Obama supporters if he does it right. I hope Wead is making sure he is prepared.

Haha. I never saw this part before:

"I love the fact that none of them talk about Ron Paul. I don’t understand how a guy with consistent grass-roots support at the level he has is not a part of the conversation. I saw on the news networks, 'Rick Perry enters the race and immediately jumps in at second place, bumping Michele Bachmann down to fourth.' But they don’t mention, 'Hey, guess who’s in third place?' Ron Paul! Aren’t you going to say his name? You’re not even going to mention it? You’re just going to fucking follow Rick Santorum around as he goes into his 'Water is water, marriage is marriage. You can’t call water beer!' Nobody is fucking listening to that guy." - Jon Stewart

Typically the Daily Show is divided into three segments of about five to eight minutes. The first one is a satirical look at the news or the way the news is covered, the second involves one of their "correspondents" doing either a satirical interview with Stewart or one of them doing an interview, and the third one is Stewart interviewing a guest. There are times when the guest is interviewed over the last two segments or the interview is longer than the segment allocated so part of it is aired during the show and the whole thing is placed on the daily show website.

By the way, the best second segment that they have done recently was this one (http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/mon-august-8-2011/the-forecloser).
