"Police have suggested that Canberra's new point-to-point speed cameras be linked to unmanned aerial surveillance drones and used to track vehicles of interest to authorities. The first of the cameras, which use automated number plate recognition technology to calculate a car's average speed and whether it is within the legal limit, are due to be switched on by the end of the year."

Are you still okay with the End of Privacy?

No where to run to. No where to hide. The whole planet under 24/7 surveillance.

As part of the last generation to have lived on planet earth before the surveillance web went up, I weep for the future that will never know a day when they are not being watched and, even more tragically, won't even care.

I was watching Animal Planet about three weekends ago , this show where these four people do Sasquatch research , the particular segment was in the Florida swamp , they interviewed a couple of Seminoles who showed them where they had seen it , then got some drone guy to come out and rent a drone to them for a day to look at terrain.

I lived in Australia for 2 months.

There isn't nearly as much of an anti-government contingent there as there is here. Most people just accept whatever the government does. They may complain and make fun of their leaders, but they don't even think of liberty for the most part.

The problem is that it's pretty socialist there, but, they are drowning in money from the Asia explosion, and the natural resources Australia has that China and others need. And income taxes are 45%! So the gov't feels RICH and with all that blood money comes power tripping, and robots to control your life. Sad.
