But here's a surprising, potentially significant development for the New Hampshire contest. Jon Huntsman, who's been swimming around the bottom of the field like a foraging flounder barely registering in most polls, has himself surged.

He's moved all the way up to 10% and third place -- ahead of Perry.

According to the new Suffolk University/7News poll of 400, the field there now stacks up this way:

Romney at 41%, up five points since June; Ron Paul at 14% and Huntsman at 10%, both up six points since June; Perry 8%; Palin 6%; Michele Bachmann 5%; Newt Gingrich at 4%; and Rick Santorum and Buddy Roemer both at 1%.

Yeah, Huntsman is way too close in NH> Granted he LIVES there practically, hasn't gone to Iowa or anywhere else, still, Ron needs NH.

The left news seems to be trying to boost Huntman. Big article from Time about huntsman under the cover of the republicans not voting for the moderates. It really is just a huntsman promotion piece.

The crosstabs have tremendous amounts of information.

Suffolk talked to 400 voters.

Did you know:

Suffolk expects 1 voter between the ages of 18-24 who believe in evolution
-- Suffolk talked to 7 voters between the ages of 18-24. 3 believe evolution is a theory, 1 believes evolution is a fact, 3 don't know.

Suffolk expects 5 voters to vote for Jon Huntsman who have a unfavorable opinion of Jon Huntsman.
-- Suffolk talked to 40 voters who said they'd be voting for Jon Huntsman. 35 of those have a favorable opinion of Jon Huntsman,
5 of those have a unfavorable opinion of Jon Huntsman.

I don't know exactly how the New Hampshire Primary will turn out, but I predict, right now, that Jon Huntsman will not get 5 times as many votes
from people who have a negative opinion of him than there are voters between the ages of 18-24 who believe evolution is a fact.
