Dear Matt,

Do you think Ron Paul is getting the media coverage he deserves?

Ifyou’re like many folks, your answer is a resounding “NO!”

After all, polls consistently show Ron Paul polling within thetop three nationally, but he’s still virtually IGNORED by the national media.

Can I count on you to do something about it?

The truth is, by censoring Dr. Paul’s message of small, constitutionally-limited government, the media is acting as a roadblock to thiscampaign.

Of course, it is important to remember that bad press and bad press relations will only hurt Dr. Paul and his message.

So it is important to present facts and enthusiastic support for Dr. Paul in a civil manner.

By establishing a good relationshipwith the media, we can encourage more and friendlier coverage of Dr. Paul which will help expand support for Ron Paul’s campaign.

Themedia is always looking for great stories, so you can help Dr. Paul by being a great source of information.

To start out, you only need toask the question, “Why are you censoring my access to Ron Paul’s views?”

Because censorship is precisely what isgoing on.

So take some time to courteously discuss these important FACTS with the media to explain just why Ron Paul is a seriouscontender:

*** Ron Paul polls consistently in a dead heat with President Obama (Rasmussen (http://paracom.paramountcommunication.com/ct/6744927:9870537205:m:1:261967002:2904F0C627323F125 63067FFD57C0B30:r), Gallup (http://paracom.paramountcommunication.com/ct/6744928:9870537205:m:1:261967002:2904F0C627323F125 63067FFD57C0B30:r), CNN (http://paracom.paramountcommunication.com/ct/6744929:9870537205:m:1:261967002:2904F0C627323F125 63067FFD57C0B30:r), Rasmussen (http://paracom.paramountcommunication.com/ct/6744930:9870537205:m:1:261967002:2904F0C627323F125 63067FFD57C0B30:r));

*** Ron Paulconsistently places in the top three in major Republican Primary polls;

*** Ron Paul is number two in fundraising andnumber one for individual donations;

*** Ron Paul has more military donations than all other GOP candidates combined, aswell as President Obama;

*** Ron Paul is a twelve-term Congressman and has spent his entire career defending theConstitution;

*** Ron Paul is the only candidate to accurately predict the housing bubble, economic crises and thedevaluation of the dollar.

Once you establish the legitimacy of Dr. Paul’s candidacy, you can then ask, “Whyisn’t there more coverage of someone who meets all the requirements of a serious candidate?”

By presenting the facts in acivil manner, you can spread Dr. Paul’s message of liberty and help him win the Republican nomination.

Please contact the nationalmedia -- and your local media -- today, and remember to treat them with courtesy and respect.

I'm sending this to all my local media outlets:

Why is there so little coverage of Ron Paul?

*** Ron Paul polls consistently in a dead heat with President Obama (Rasmussen (http://paracom.paramountcommunication.com/ct/6744927:9870537205:m:1:261967002:2904F0C627323F125 63067FFD57C0B30:r), Gallup (http://paracom.paramountcommunication.com/ct/6744928:9870537205:m:1:261967002:2904F0C627323F125 63067FFD57C0B30:r), CNN (http://paracom.paramountcommunication.com/ct/6744929:9870537205:m:1:261967002:2904F0C627323F125 63067FFD57C0B30:r), Rasmussen (http://paracom.paramountcommunication.com/ct/6744930:9870537205:m:1:261967002:2904F0C627323F125 63067FFD57C0B30:r));;

*** Ron Paul consistently places in the top three in major Republican Primary polls;

*** Ron Paul is number two in fundraising and number one for individual donations;

*** Ron Paul has received more military donations than all other GOP candidates combined, as well as President Obama;

*** Ron Paul is a twelve-term Congressman and has spent his entire career defending the Constitution;

*** Ron Paul is the only candidate to accurately predict the housing bubble, economic crises and the devaluation of the dollar.

Why isn’t there more coverage of someone who meets all the requirements of a serious candidate?

The national media has refused to bring Dr. Paul the coverage he deserves, and continue to deprive individuals the necessary information needed to make an informed decision on which candidate to cast their ballot for on election day. So I am asking those of you in my local media outlets to take a stand for professional journalism and please give Ron Paul the fair share of coverage his increasingly successful campaign so deserves. Make this area proud by giving the people the best coverage of the presidential race possible.

I trust that you will.

Best Regards,

Gary

We are working to help Matt over at our site because we want to start hitting the media pages on Facebook in droves to tell them to stop ignoring us...if we have 10-15K members, we would be a force to be reckoned with...and if WE could get mainstream media attention to draw to our cause of stopping the ignoring of Ron Paul...

We are also making videos like this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hP9zv1kZU44

To show people how to properly be out spreading this message because it NEEDS to be done in a professional manner because what we do reflects directly on Ron.

We want to help with this initiative and can take a lot of that on if people would help spread the word on our site. We also are coordinating better for the money bombs and want to make them HUGE deals. I have been reaching out to family members and have gained about $5,000 in promised donations already just in asking them to pledge...so we CAN do this and I want to help...so help us help you!

SocialMediaMarch.org (http://SocialMediaMarch.org) is the website. We are already getting attention from one of the the producers of the Jerry Doyle radio show...and he mentioned us and we saw almost 100 sign ups that night.

I know we could also do a lot with Facebook ads. I see Mitt all OVER Facebook. We could so do better. We can do this all through my wife if need be...whatever, but lets connect!

I wrote this to NPR and my local KQED Public Radio:

Very disappointed in what my $150 yearly donation gets on NPR and KQED Public Radio

Today, I tuned into KQED on my ride back from work, and NPR's All Things Considered had a segment about the Federal Reserve. It highlighted Steve Dore, a song writer singing about "End the Fed" who was inspired by Ron Paul. Later the focus shifted to the Republican Presidential debates and played a clip of Newt Gingrich, who just today said, "there is no question Ron Paul was the first serious national leader to take on Federal Reserve; history will recognize him."

Why is it that this segment on the Federal Reserve on All Things Considered completely did not even mention Ron Paul who is also a Republican Presidential candidate? Ron Paul even wrote a book titled "End the Fed" which showed up on the New York Times Best Sellers list.

This censorship of Ron Paul happens on the local KQED Public Radio as well. I recall from the Forum segment about the Ames Straw Poll, Ron Paul was pretty much completely ignored by the host and guests even though Ron Paul practically tied for first place. Instead most of the attention was focused on Rick Perry who did not even listed on the straw poll ballot.

I am very disappointed in the quality of coverage on NPR and KQED Public Radio, and I am cancelling my yearly $150 membership with KQED.

If you stop censoring my access to Ron Paul's views, I may reconsider donating again in the future.
