Love your new avatar! :)

Nice comment here from the article:

This headline is intentionally misleading. He doesn't "have" a private jet. He rented one to get to some closely spaced events. And he isn't "lagging" in the polls, he just hopped handily over Bachmann in the latest polls into an undeniably secure third place in the race at 13%. If anyone has "lagged" in the polls of late, it's Michelle Bachmann, who is all but out of this race. Her remaining 5% supporters should be looking at joining with Paul if they want ANY kind of change to the status quo in this country.

This is the kind of attack on Liberty I've come to expect from the editor of The Atlantic and the Lamestream Media at large. It's part of a concerted effort to prevent Ron Paul from being perceived as the frontrunner he is in this race. His support is fervent and omnipresent. We are organized, pissed off, and coming to take our country back from the bankers and politicians and corporatists who have stolen it from us. The level of enthusiasm present in Ron Paul supporters is a very dangerous thing in a primary where most contenders have been described as "meh" to most of the Republican electorate.

This is going to be a closer fought primary than this Party has seen in a LONG time. Just wait til the conventions, then we'll see who has the last laugh.

Maybe we could do a "Where's Paul" website, like the dollar bill program "Where's George". Get the tail number and there are aircraft tracking sites...

Just a thought...

As long as you don't expect us to stamp the web address on our gold coins

Paul, whose "money-bomb" donation drives and devoted followers have made him the third-most successful fundraiser in the presidential field (behind President Obama and GOP rival Mitt Romney) as of June 30, even though he lags in the polls, addressed the audience at his first event, in Council Bluffs, by phone.

What a misleading statement loaded with errors!
Where does Ron Paul get his donations? These "money-bombs" are from individuals not from corporations with their nooses around the other candidate's necks.
And what polls is he lagging in? The contrived MSM polls or the staw polls WHERE HE IS KICKING BUTT!

Ugh - I hate phony, prostituted journalism.

So when Ron Paul is in 3rd place in the National Gallup Polls he's "lagging", but when Michelle Bachmann was in 3rd place she's a "top tier contender".

I see what you did there Atlantic.
