So the people that support Wikileaks and Bradly Manning are just socialists and communists?
Those that oppose Internet Tracking and censorship are just idiots?
What about he End The Fed folks?

Yes there are socialists, and anarchists, and a lot of others that are fed up with Wall Street artificially manipulating the Market.

They are not ALL either this or that.

Based on some of the signs and claims by these folks. I say most of um are communist and socialist. Have you not see the anti capitalist signs?

See you are going with the "enemy of my enemy is my friend" thing. But i say these communist /socialist arnt our friends, they are a cancer just like the anti capitalist corporatist.

I am not supportive of communism or socialism, and I have no doubt that some are there. It is a diverse bunch.

I would bet that most are not really anti-capitalism as much as they are Anti-Corruption.

It's a true shame that as soon as people protest, many crawl out of the woodwork to knock them down, insult them, and generally disparage them. It's surprising our government even bothers to work so hard against protest when our American public will do the job for them.

Support protest. Support dissent. Support our right to both. That is freedom. It matters not if you agree with each and every protester, what is important at this stage in history is that you support the right to peacefully protest. And something tells me you have no idea what these protesters actually think, unless you've talked to a couple dozen of them yourself, because rest assured the media will not accurately represent them.

As iv mentioned in a diff thread about these protest. I follow quiet a few ppl's blog who are committed communist and very much involved in these protests. BTW the other thread was actually about how a person wearing a RP t shirt was disparaged by the majority crowed at this protest.

Perhaps you are seeing different stories here.

http://www.salon.com/news/politics/feature/2011/09/18/wallstreet/

"This country is in decline," said Jack Laxson, an 18-year-old Hampshire College student who was carrying a sign that read, "Corporations Run This Country -- Let's Do Something About It."

"Even with a good education, you don't have much to look forward to. No jobs, lots of debt."

Like many of the protestors, Laxson expressed strong disappointment with President Obama, but said the Republican presidential field was even more demoralizing. "They're a social psych experiment," he said.

Matt Rosen, a protestor standing next to Laxson, agreed. "Obama's not on our side -- he's George W. Bush Part Two. And the only Republican candidate who speaks any sense is Ron Paul, and he doesn't stand a chance because the media have blacked him out."

Rosen, a 36-year-old swimming pool contractor from New Jersey, said the bad economy is killing his business. He spent the night in Zuccotti Park, sleeping on a swimming pool cover, because, "If people don't get off the couch, nothing will get done."

I also saw only a smidgen of support from the organized left in New York, which I do not understand.

If I were closer to Wall Street I'd be there handing out Ron Paul literature, lol.

But no, I don't expect much if this is a typical crowd of people who are protesting the government because it 'just hasn't done enough.'
