Anyone notice the frequency doesn't seem to be slowing...It's been going gangbusters all morning...

Keep this pace up and 7 mill doesn't seem to be a silly figure...

I've been waiting for a slowdown to plop down my $100, hasn't happened yet.

I know, it's ridiculous! I can't believe what I'm seeing!

I woke up at 10 am central time and it was around 4.4 million, and it will easily hit 4.8 before noon.

No, it hasn't slowed at all. Consistent 220-230,000.00 every hour... on the hour.

This is so much better than I expected!!! I told my wife that yesterday he would raise 1.7 million. Looks like it will pass that for sure

There have been 12k donations so far, or thereabouts. As we all know, 18k signed up.

Even if we get all the pledges donating, we'll hit ~2.3 mill and hit a wall. On that note, based on signups, the future doesn't look good.

BUT

I can't help but remember the last week of Q3 when we went balls-to-the-wall for 3 days to get $500k, and everybody thought we'd slow to a trickle at the finish. DIDN'T HAPPEN!

Let's do whatever we have to to make this first 12 hours our warmup, and the 18k pledges just the beginning!

I just sent another 300 on top of my 400 last night. My intent was to send about $200... oh well.. :)

To see this awesome amount of donating almost makes me cry for joy.

I have a man in my meetup that doesn't want to sign up with the pledge but is donating. I'll bet there are plenty like that out there... so we have more than 18K involved in this.

There will be at least double the number of people donating, as I've said earlier, the MINIMUM amount donated will be $4M and by the way the strong pace will not just stop at midnight going into the 6th, it will continue for sometime afterwards.

dont count out the people donating that didnt sign up on the website. I'm one of them, and waiting for my transaction code so I can post it. :D i'm sure we'll slow down significantly this afternoon, but i'm hoping the donations roll in until the late night.

I didn't sign up, and neither did several other people I know who are donating today.

We like to pretend that we're not "following the crowd".

Evening pace will be the one to watch, people with a lot of free time on their hands make dangerous financial spammers!

8 mil total raised in the quarter is the ceiling of what i would consider feasible for today, but i would love to be proven wrong.

This indicates two things 1) Ron's support is way up on what the pollsters are saying and 2) People are starting to believe he can win this thing, and oh yeah, Ron Paul supporters Rule!

Its moving at about 200K per hour... add that up over the next 11.5 hours or so then less as the time zones wear out.

Its amazing to watch though. There really are a lot of us out there...

I've been randomly writing down numbers to track it through the day.

3,802,640.00 @ 8:04
4,268,534.44 @ 10:14 +226,162.34
4,526,179.95 @ 11:29 +257,645.51
4,661,039.50 @ 12:07 +134,859.55
4,733,294.77 @ 12:30 +72,255.27

I just saw the name "Mark Mcgrath" from Los Angeles go across as a recent donor.

Isn't that the name of that fellow in the pop band that sings I Just Wanna Fly? I forget their name, not my kind of music, but interesting none-the-less.

I remember those guys - one hit wonders weren't they? I saw an interview they gave, seemed very cool, how they loved having that one hit, better than no hit!

I wonder if Donna D'Errico knew about this 5th thing?

Sugar Ray wasn't a one hit wonder. They had a few popular songs if I recall. Mark McGrath does seem kind of random though. I love when stuff like that happens.

$2779K at midnight also add $320K offline (which were added by HQ after midnight if I am not mistaken). You need to subtract both of these from total.

Maybe they weren't as popular here in England. Or could just be my memory!

I still wish the campaign would make more of the support of Jimmie Vaughan...

I can't believe this. It is amazing what a few can accomplish. Well, I guess it isn't a few anymore. I donated around 10:30am. It was like $4.3 million. I come back to the computer and it is a whopping $4.8. This is miraculous. I haven't done a cartwheel since I was 12 years old but I think I might do one now. Hope I don't out myself in the hospital. :-)

Ladies and gentlemen, you've been asking for a second "shot heard round the world"; I do believe this is it! And in fact, we'd be nuts not to call it that.
