Targetted mailing lists?

I know, everyone hates spam, me too. However, it is a proven method and we're not really asking for anything other than to sign up at the Ron Paul site if interested. Quick research identified the following:

Chiropracters (alternative medicine, $249 for 20k)

Homeschooling ($199 for 20k)

Pastors and Churches (target the shepherd and they can target the flock, $599 for 100k)

E-mail blasts for $799 for 100k

$999 + $799 + $799 (2 lists are free) = $2,597

So for <3k we could reach out to 150k people with a targetted message.

Most people would probably just delete them, imo. Not a bad idea though, I would really like to see some kind of ad campaign outside of the grassroots.
