I talked to a rep at the VVS and they said the straw poll is being held on Saturday 10/8, and that the candidates are mostly likely to speak on Saturday as well, although they could be slotted for any time where the schedule shows "PLENARY SESSION" on it.

Again, this was just speaking to one rep there so if anyone else can confirm or deny this info it would be very helpful.

i called today but it was closed. i'll probably give them a call tomorrow. did you ask specifically about ron paul? or just the candidates...anyways it can't hurt to try again.
