My little sister(well, shes 19) is having a party tonite and I'm trying to keep everying under control. I'm wearing my Ron Paul is my homeboy shirt and its been a hit. I'm truly suprised at how many kids know about Ron and are quite hype! Some ask where I got the shirt, some just started talkin about how they found out about him, its been really cool! I've handed out some slim jims, some even took some home for others. I also handed out some bumper stickers and even got a couple people to donate a little somethin to the money bomb! I also told them its important to vote in the primary. I'm really happy to see this,18 year-old kids explaining TO ME about how 16 trillion dollars would cover a football field 100 feet high!

It's insane. Young folks are OVERWHELMINGLY supportive of the campaign.

Wow, I'm just surprised they thought it was cool to talk about Ron Paul during a supposed college party.

I wonder what older people think when they see the youth tremendously behind Ron Paul and not a democrat as has been the case for decades.

Yep. This change is happening. Even if it's not 2012, then it'll be 2016 or 2020.

The older generation is phasing out of existence, and our numbers are growing. :)

Now the only problem is that they don't ever show up to vote! Still, nice job.

Now the only problem is that they don't ever show up to vote! Still, nice job. I told them while I was pleased with their enthsiasm, the knock on the younger generations is that they don't actually get out and vote. They replied that they would and are trying to energize others!

My main focus for turning 18 was that I would finally be able to vote. A close second was finally being able to buy my own ciggs. The first thing I did when I was 18 was register Republican and buy ciggs lol. I would have registered Libertarian, but I wanted to register Republican to vote in the primaries.

Depends which young folks - my daughter goes to a State University that has a high population of black students - they unabashadly, unequivicolly, unashamedly support Obama (and don't get the females [students and teachers] started on Michelle - you'd think she was Mother Teresa).
