Some of my Facebook friends are big Ohio State Buckeye fans. There is a huge rivalry between OSU and the University of Michigan in football and I'm sure there are other schools with similarly passionate rivalries.
This school spirit spills over into other things. For example, OSU and MI have an annual blood drive, where they try to outdo each other.
How about an OSU/MI and other schools competing to donate to Ron Paul in the name of their school?
I lack the technical expertise to set it up, but what about a page where the donor can designate what school they wish their donation to be attributed to and there could be a bar chart with a bunch of schools, each bar vying to outdo each other? Perhaps the schools could be grouped according to the student population, so that a little college could compare how they are doing compared to similarly sized schools.
What do you think? Not only current students, but alumni and any school fan could participate...
