He walks damn fast for a 76 year old, as we were waiting to get our registrations done you can hear the crowd roaring as Ron Paul blazed down the halls.

RON PAUL! RON PAUL! RON PAUL!

And before I knew it, he was walking right past me and I felt the energy as I chanted as well, living legend is an understatement.

Even the Rick Perry people (I swear there were no more than 15 and they look like they were paid or on extra credit) were thrilled to see Ron Paul pass by them.

Also at the republican convention, I could see the attendees talking about us Ron Paul supporters in a positive manner like;

"this is what America is about!"

"this is the new generation!"

really moving stuff.

I'm sure there were negative comments too but I didn't hear them, I made it a mission to be as friendly as I could be to nonRP'ers there.

Wow, when I first began watching the video, I thought that there would only be a few people chanting, as I saw only about 20 in the beginning. What I think is so neat is seeing that in every room, every hallway, there are dozens of Ron Paul supporters, and it was amazing watching the crowd grow around him as he walked.

"No so, Paul, who was cheered at the Lincoln Club event. And the crowd around him is so raucous that Paul, a physician, was actually turned away from the convention’s health care forum when he showed up with a chanting mob; a volunteer freaked out and barred the door, keeping him out."

Seriously. This is THE video that shows that Ron Paul is a rockstar and is not being covered as per his popularity by the MSM. If Drudge has the balls to link it, it goes viral. Hell, I think it goes viral anyway. It's that amazing. Even I started chanting RON PAUL! RON PAUL! RON PAUL! and I'm 3,000 miles away!

Old women in the Birmingham, AL suburbs love Rick Perry.

Because they are going on one thing and one thing only, at this time. They think he is a Christian. Perry being outed as lying about his support for TARP and for ObamaCare will make him lose his luster to this crowd. After the luster is off and only then, will it be time to tell them about Ron Paul. It cannot and should not be done at the same time.

At least that is my take on it from talking to relatives and friends in Alabama.

Note: Most do not even know Ron Paul is running.

Paul's Money Bomb Over $549,000; Supporters Attend California Convention

As the Ron Paul Constitutional money bomb fund raiser tops $500,000, Rep. Paul's supporters have returned from the California Republican Convention where Paul spoke. They reported that around 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning, Rep. Paul had several hundred supporters and at 10:30 a.m. Rick Perry had only ten people in the room.

The convention report continued:

At this point we crowded into the Republican Liberty Caucus event and Dr. Paul addressed a the auditorium which was packed and standing room only. I'd say they were about 400-500 people Ron Pauliacs.

I finally cast my vote in my first straw poll and it felt great! All thanks to my meet-up group and former Congressional candidate Robert Vaughn who helped me register for the vote.”

ok this is what I think, Bachmann showed up on Friday and so did her supporters (and from what I hear, they were mainly old ladies with white hair) but the straw poll didn't start until this morning so that means all of Bachmann's CA supporters (if she has any) had to have come back to vote which I think is a bit unlikely. She is Ron's only competitor there.

More than half of the entire attendees of California GOP convention would have to vote for Bachmann to get around our 500+ votes. I just read in an email that we actually had 1000+ RP supporters there if that makes any difference.

Between "The Only One We Can Trust" and this video, my Democrat-voting father just told me he is changing his registration to vote for Ron Paul in the primaries! My mom is also at least 95% onboard and hasn't seen this video yet (She LOVED the "Trust" one and generally loves him).

Videos like this go to show that the mainstream media is the ONLY reason Rick Perry and Mitt Romney are getting 20%+ in the polls. If RP was covered fairly 24/7 like them, and on the cover of Time and Newsweek, I am convinced he would be at 40%+ in the polls.

So Ron could win straw poll 500/510 = 98% :O !!

Perry wasn't there. I did see somewhere that he was in LA, so he might have been pushing a stealth organization (as Romney was in LA, as well, but not at the convention.) However, Perry didn't speak at the convention itself unless there was a really last minute change.. but his folks were organized and much 'slicker' than ours, with matching, brand new t shirts and professional posted signs, all matching, etc. Our guys were sort of a hodge podge, home spun lot. Much more authentic grass roots.

They were probably saying they only saw about 10 Perry folks, but it was more like 15 stayed out in the lobby area. From the votes, clearly there were more supporters in the meeting rooms.

The video at the beginning of this thread shows the [I]second[I] march of the day for our crowd through the GOP convention. That video was of RP's walk to his 11am speech before the Republican Liberty Caucus (us). This was not his initial arrival, and that is why you can see so many supporters in front of him as he walks. I was actually caught off guard while eating a sandwich when he came my way. (I dropped the sandwich, grabbed my sign and found myself chanting "End the Fed" before I even knew what was going on.)

Our first march took place right after RP got to the hotel around 8-ish. A crowd of several hundred people lined both sides of the street in front of the JW Marriot. RP zoomed right in because he was a bit late for his breakfast speech, and for a second, many of us were left in doubt as to what should be done next. All of a sudden, everyone just started marching through the hotel. While there were fewer people in the first march than in the second (it being earlier, with many people not having arrived yet) the impact was huge because a) no one had really gone in the hotel yet, so the establishment Republicans didn't know what they were in for, and b) we all came in as a group at one time, following Dr. Paul through the hotel lobby all the way up three stories chanting and screaming Liberty's slogans.

Here's a link to us waiting outside the hotel before Dr. Paul's arrival:

I also found a video of the first march:

I'd also like to say how appreciative I am for how helpful local RP organizers were in coordinating everything. Their class and genuine dedication is beyond words. We fought back yesterday, and that was obvious both to us and the establishment. Real revolutionary stuff.

End the Fed!!!

Video of Ron Paul's arrival at the GOP convention in California earlier this morning. This gave me goosebumps. RP is a living legend.

Here is the definitive video of the Ron Paul base at the California GOP. This one has the best quality and soundtrack. What does RP say at the beginning when he first appears around 1:55? And then again at the 2:15 mark (seems like a joke)? Thanks.
