Here's what Rush Limpboy(sp?) posted on his website yesterday:

"RUSH: Jimmy Carter ought to love Obama. Finally somebody can come along and take the mantle of worst president in a hundred years away from him . Jimmy Carter endorsed Romney. (laughing) Did you see, by the way, Barry Manilow has endorsed Ron Paul. Barry Manilow said that he agrees with everything Ron Paul said."

How does Rush expect anyone to still take him seriously, when he believes that Carter was the worst president in the last 100 years. Personally, I never liked Carter; he did things I strongly disagreed with. But, I'm 46, and Carter wasn't even the worst president in my lifetime, and I mean BB (before Barry). You gotta wonder what that party hack's criteria are for a bad president, if W, Slick Willy, FDR, and Woodrow Wilson get higher scores than Carter. I think it's long past time for Rush Limbaugh to retire; his shelf-life expired in 1992.

Well, hell, FDR ain't that bad, he only gave us the Welfare State (Rush loves that eh?), NLRB, the train to Fiat money, policy of internment of American citizens (Which by the way is still on the books and is A-OK for future use (See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korematsu_v._United_States)), giant bureaucracy, actual socialist programs like TVA, et. al, price & wage controls, massive Corporate-subsidies which many are still around today, I could go on and on and the one good thing he did which was the repeal of Prohibition is the one thing Rush would be against. It boggles the mind. FDR wasn't even the worst as Woodrow Wilson was even scummier than him, and if we go farther back you can't get any worse than Abraham Lincoln that mass-murderer.

yep. rush limbaugh is officially irrelevant. must be crushing oxies into his coffee, again. either that or his crush on sweet ricky perry is clouding the judgement in the half or his brain that isn't tied behind his back. heck, maybe the ropes are just too tight, and the blood loss has led to brain loss. in any case, the guy sold-out 20 years ago, and has basically been a worthless hack, ever since.

Limbaugh, Hannity, and Levin - no matter how much they use the words Constitution and Tea Party (since Ron Paul's campaign used them in 2008 and were so successful) - they continue to completely accept that the current system that we live in cannot be changed, and thus we must accept and embrace it:

- fiat monetary system
- 2-party political system
- bankrupting entitlement system
- "walk ARROGANTLY and swing your big stick everywhere" foreign policy
- massive federal regulatory system as it pertains to all business and individual life

We must play nice with the Fed (as Wilson did), find our place in the (R) or (D) party, accept the Social Security / Medicare system (as FDR did), embrace the Bush Doctrine (as Obama has), and only "talk" of removing regulations while growing the size of government (like Reagan did).

If Ron Paul can do all of these things, he may stand the same chance these 3 idiots feel that Romney and Perry currently have, based on the MSMs latest polling data (F U Frank!).

+rep. Succinct win. One step further - you can insert a plethora of names in your opening, and the shoe size is the same same same.

Plus 1, and rep. I hear the same defeatist resignation to the status quo attitude voiced by some in the libertarian movement as well. Paul and candidates like him signal real change is at hand.

If I recall, Manilow said he agreed with "just about everything" Ron Paul says.

Rush is in the same league as the rest of the progressives on MSNBC in the sense that they all propagate statism. Rush rose to power and popularity during the 80s-90s because the media was dominated by the likes of CNN and the public didn't have many options if they wanted to hear a "conservative" with attitude. Those days are long gone. Place Rush in the dustbin of history along with his stone age media cohorts.

I can't get mad at him, he can't be taken seriously. I prefer him over other wing nuts like Lawrence odonell, Levin, maddow and hannity he seems to be campy and tounge in cheek. The sad thing is that people hang on every word he says.
