Another reason to click the ads: I think it costs Mitt money. Has anyone else been seeing Mitt ads everywhere all of a sudden the last couple days? "Go on the Road with Mitt" (now that sounds thrilling), "T-Paw Stands with Mitt"(the zombie endorses the mannequin). Interesting. Doesn't he know Ron Paul owns these internets?

I have seen them, it was even on the front page of youtube yesterday on a banner, and yes it does cost them money, a very small part of that goes to the video creator, which is awesome, I will take mitts money all day long and donate it to Dr. Paul, every click helps!

at 115 donors, we're at $6936.xx, an average of $60/donor

at 131, $8361 = $63.80

@ 184, $11875 = $64.50

@507, $32036 =$63.20

holding pretty consistent average so far....

what state?

I will add that I had forgotten that the money that you'd spend on the signs would go to the total. Which does tend to equalize the pros and cons of each.

I'm just not a fan of signs, months before other campaigns have signs.

It could make us look dedicated and enthusiastic, or it could make us look weird.

If I had 100 signs, and wanted them. I would try to find 100 supporters locally to get a free sign. Right there, you have 100 people
who can be moved into the volunteer system.

The sign is more valuable as a tool to get more specific supporters, rather than an advertisement.

Spend 200 on signs and spend 100 on robocalls.

Robocall - Who is the champion of the constitution? - answer correctly and win a free sign.
rp08orbust will be able to call just your zip code (perhaps). For $100, I bet he could get you 50 phone numbers of people who want your sign.
You call them, take their info, and give them the sign. You can also tell them about the meetup group and tell them that the official campaign may be contacting them at a later time.

Under those condiditions, I would think signs would be the way to go. I would assume that many of the people would wait before putting up their sign. So, if you are getting signs into the hands of the Ron Paul supporters, months before the election, that would be seen as a good thing.

Great advice! Anyone in Jersey need some signs??

Contact rp08orbust. He's the one with the magic skills that allow you to find 50 Ron Paul supporters who are "out of the loop"
who live in your zip code.

He does this all the time, with great effectiveness. He has been working on the California Straw Poll most recently. He makes phonecalls, thousands
of them, to people who live close to the california straw poll, asking them "who is the champion of the constitution, if you answer right , you could win a free ticket to the
California Straw Poll". If it was just you, you would find it a nearly impossible task to find 50 Ron Paul supporters using just a phone. But he can get you 50 Ron Paul supporters in your neighborhood with $100. And he can do that overnight. The free sign is what you're giving them in exchange for their data. Phone number, name email, stuff like that. That should be valuable information for you. The campaign as well would like that information. Maybe those people that you identify with the robocalls, and give a free sign to, could be considered "your voters". You adopt them. Adopt a Voter. All of these people need to be registered correctly by the deadline. They need to know where their polling place is, and they might need a ride to the polls.

This is an excellent idea and I will contact him tomorrow. Thanks and good night!

who live in your zip code.

On the road with Mitt? I'll go only if he lets the dogs out...

I went to bed before midnight last night and sometime after the campaign changed the way the data was being returned for the donation ticker so I have absolutely no data prior to 10:30 this morning. If anyone has any data points (time and approximate amount) I would be happy to add them to the stream.

I'm also collecting number of donors this time and I'll probably add them to the graph later today.

This bears repeating...

The official campaign needs your dollars and cents. While RevPAC is a very important, worthwhile endeavour, without the official campaign going on they have no impact at the moment. If you are considering "saving" your donation for 9/19, and you are not maxed out to Ron Paul's campaign, then please try to shift your donation to Ron Paul rather than RevPAC.

It's ultimately your money, but consider the above. Ron's reputation and his ability to move forward are on the line. RevPAC needs money, but this site and most of its members are here to see Ron Paul in the White House (not RevPAC) :)

Anyone know the best way to check your donation total? I've done so many smallish donations this cycle I have no clue what the total is.

The radio is probably counting donations from the past few days. I collected data last night and the difference from the previous total was $390317.03, when added to the current total $278862.88 from today you have a grand total for the weekend of $669179.91.

I kind of doubt that $390k was raised yesterday, especially since over the four hours I was collecting data only $4736.82 was raised. I bet that they stopped updating the news ticker feed but the total it was reporting reflected total donations since August 19th, which would be quite unfortunate if that's accurate. So... basically, it sounds like the radio people have the wrong information.

I believe one thing why we are don't getting the donations we need today is because there is no meter flow on how much we need to reach for the day. All other money bombs had one. We need one for the goal of $500K, this would give us an idea what we need.

Here is the raw data if anyone wants to use it: http://ronpaulmyths.com/sep17donations.txt
Last time: http://ronpaulmyths.com/aug20donations.txt

I made a couple of graphs, but they aren't making much sense to me. There was a ton of duplicate data in the first one, which I cleaned up, and there are times that haven't happened yet for the second one; can't explain that.

The data for each moneybomb would also be best collected at consistent times, such as at half-hour intervals starting at midnight; makes it easier to graph.

I'm not sure what you're talking about. I don't see any duplicate data in either file, though there are missing data points because my internet connection isn't always stable. Here is a screen capture of what I see when I open the first file. I've added the arrows highlighting duplicated data.

http://www.peppypawspoochpark.com/htmills/images/duplicatedata.jpg

Note the times. The data in the second file was recorded at different times (and times that don't appear to have happened yet unless they were for an earlier day). While the two files could be consolidated, it would be easier if the data had been collected at the same times and time intervals.

That was in the file one time for about a minute when I was adding information in vim, I accidentally copied two lines a hundred times. I suspect if you look at the bottom of the file the last entry will be 12:30 pm or something... just hit refresh.

Meh, you can't take the comments of one or two people as representative of the majority. The structure of the internet inherently gives people a louder voice than they would otherwise have. Take it with a grain of salt.

I am kind of worried about the donation total. It hasn't broke half a million yet. For weeks before this, I tried to get people to spread the word, and was met with not alot of luck. It seemed as though those people wanted to wait until the "Black out THIS" money bomb. We have to remember, this is the money bomb that is before the end of the reporting quarter! It isn't too late to promote this, please continue to hit the YT videos, and social networking sites!
