View Full Version : One thing NOT to do with today's huge success!

Do not get into some kind of pissing contest or throwdown with Huckabee or anyone else's supporters. Yes we have got to be proud of what we have done and we have got to get this covered on the news, OF COURSE - but if we start making comparisons and saying things like "If Huckabee is so great, why can't his supporters raise as much in a month as we raise in a day?" the last thing we want to do is make this some kind of contest and God forbid this become about "Honor", let's be proud of our success but not do anything to motivate his supporters, few though they may be.

As much fun as it might be to rub their noses in it, we don't want blowback.

Congratulations! I am the one millionth post to use the term blowback!

Agreed. Taunting the supporters of candidates who you will eventually need to support Paul is not a smart idea.

Another thing we can't have happen - complacency.
No matter the success we have today we can't let up.

Yup. We sure don't want to embolden anyone else's camp.

Good advice. Remember Ron Paul's character: humility.

I agree it would be stupid to motivate Rudy's big money donors to get in competition with us to rudy's glee.

And I'd like to extend this to apply to our own supporters! A few on here didn't like the idea of today, but let's forget about our past differences and enjoy this historic fundraising effort! The message of freedom is resonating!
