We can't forget our more local elections in 2012. I know Corker is up for re-election. Does anybody stand a chance against him in the primaries?

Are there any other big races?

Thanks to Matt Collins for telling me about Zach Poskevich. Obviously, he faces a huge uphill battle against Corker. We should at least try to make a statement at the polls.

Yea someone needs to run against corker and win. I really do not like Corker and his policies. He likes the fed and supports the drug war. What a doosh.

I have spoke with him and he seems to be a genuine small government guy who wants to bring back Constitutional restraints to our Federal Government. He may not be an absolute Paulite, but he does appear to respect the Constitution. On his email newsletter he always includes a "Corkerwatch" section where he highlights Corker's recent activities in DC. It always seems to highlight bills that Corker supports and how they are in violation of the Constitution, so that is a good sign. Anyway, he will be a vast improvement over Corker; Tennessee deserves better than Bob Corker.

Check out his website and consider supporting him. The primary isn't until the summer (maybe August?). Seems like a long time for the incumbent to have all the attention and monopoly on name recognition before he is challenged in a primary. If Zach wins the primary that leaves a very short time between the primary and the general election in November. He needs all the help he can get.

Even just helping build his name recognition here in Tennessee will help.

I donated to Poskevich's campaign. I don't know where he stands on all the issues but he looks a lot better than Corker.

Can anyone find a link to this video of Corker supporting the FED? It appears that this one has been set to "private" status on Youtube.

Harring is getting beaten bad.I congratulate Ryan Harring (https://www.facebook.com/ryan.harring) on his electoral loss last night!

Now he will be spared the embarrassment of being associated with the statists, thieves, liars, and plunderers in the Tennessee Legislature.

Well the TN democratic party hates him even though he's their nominee. That should count for something. ;)

I wonder if it's possible to force a debate between him and Corker?

I think I'm going to vote for Clayton. The responses on his fb page from actual left wing Democrats are priceless. They accuse him of deceiving the voters or that TEA Party groups somehow orchestrated his victory. There was no deception and if the voters don't study candidates positions then they have no right to complain about the result. I'm sure there were just tons of Republicans who voted in the Democratic primary:rolleyes:
