Had to read that twice... I think think I get what he's trying to say, but its not a very "Wordsmith" like way to put it.

At least he demonstrates that he's vindictive, and he seems to justify Jesse's stance.

Boo hoo for National Review. The campaign knows you're going to do a hit piece on him whether he's interviewed or not. This is just like refusing to go on O'Reilly. They're going to attack you no matter what, so don't give them the ratings boost. Don't reward a business for an inferior product.
