Here's an interesting data point on the Paul/Perry feud- Paul's supporters say if it came down to Romney/Perry they'd go for Mitt 38-33

Obviously, the poll is wrong.

What a pointless poll. They couldn't get a more arbitrary set of percentages if they polled a bunch of husbands on whether they prefered the color ivory or the color egg shell.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to erowe1 again.

Flashbacks! I remember those days. My answer to this poll would be the same as it was to that question, "Uhm, I honestly can't tell the difference between the two."

Let's not go making generalized statements now. I mean it not THAT hard..

These polls are laughable. I guess people are willing to compromise their conscience. I know what I am going to do on voting day, if Dr. Paul is not on the ballot, he will be on mine!

If it comes down to Perry vs. Romney I'll... write in Ron Paul, obviously. What kind of Paul supporter would ever vote for one of those fakes?

GOP 2nd tier: Bachmann is 5th at 9%, then Cain at 8%, and Santorum/Huntsman each at 2%: tinyurl.com/62hl3m4

Someone is 1st tier now . . .

Rick Perry continues to hold a double digit lead over Mitt Romney nationally in the Republican Presidential race. He's at 31% to 18% for Romney, 11% for Ron Paul, 10% for Newt Gingrich, 9% for Michele Bachmann, 8% for Herman Cain, and 2% each for Jon Huntsman and Rick Santorum.

Do you really believe this?

I'm not voting for the Imperial Party, but if I had to choose Romney is a FAR better alternative than Perry.

I'd probably vote for Obama (if I had to choose between party a or b).

I'll vote 3rd party OR if it looks like it is close, I'll cast my votes in whatever way would best keep the branches of govt divided by party. The LAST thing we need right now is a single party federal government again.

If an RNC convention came down to Paul supporters being the deciding vote between Perry vs Romney at the convention, the Paul supporters should demand that all the other attendees change their to Ron Paul rather than participating in the feud.

They're both bad, but Romney at least is a nice guy. I wouldn't vote for him, but if you put a gun to my head and I had to choose between the two, I would prefer Romney. As Lew Rockwell's insider says, Perry is demonic. He'll knowingly help the globalists; Romney will help them unknowingly at a slightly slower pace.

I won't vote in the generals. I want my voting record to be pristine, just like Ron's. :)

A lot of Ron Paul supporters aren't the hardcore supporters that we have here. There's a lot of Ron Paul supporters in the general population who will support Ron Paul in the primary and support the GOP nominee in the general election. Just look at Justin Amash in the 2008 election. He donated money to Ron, and then he donated money to McCain in the general election.

They're both shitty, but at least Perry has the balls to say Social Security is a Ponzi scheme, secession could be on the table, and pulling out of Aghanistan should be considered. In practice though, I would expect no difference the two
